I've been told not to miss when Cars Land lights up at evening and when IASW lights up. Does anyone know what time that is? Also is there anything else that is a must see. Thank you

Carsland lights come on at dusk.. I believe .. also you can ask a cast memember there...
not sure about IASW ..

A must see,...hhmm depends on what you like to do and how much time you have.. We love doing the Aladin show.. and alway manage to catch the C/A parade , that is fun..

Meet and greats are fun ... we do Toontown when we get there so get MIckey MInie GOofy and Pluto out of the way in approx 30 minutes..


Back in C/A we love the amimation academy .. and talk with crush.

Tons to do and see without ever going on a ride.. have a great trip.

As the PP said, the lights along Route 66 in Carsland come on at dusk. So it's not really a set time, but varies with the onset of "dusk". You're best bet is to ask a CM along the route; they can usually help you.

Skimming some recent Holiday time threads seems to indicate that the IaSW Holiday Lighting ceremony happens after sunset, but may vary depending on the time of the parade. Again, you're best bet is to ask the CM at Guest Services when the ceremony will be for the day you are there. At this point, I would guess that it's going to be somewhere between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm.

I was there this weekend and asked a CM about the Carsland lighting. They said dusk, but didn't have it listed; they simply googled the time for me. I didn't know there was one time when IASW lights up, but there is a light show on IASW and a CM can tell you when it happens. The light show happens a few times through the evening either on the hour or the quarter hour. It is also magical to see the castle light up and the snow fall which also happens through the evening on the quarter hour, I believe, and a CM can tell you this time also. Have fun!!

The Cars Land lighting at dusk is a set time after sunset each night, so it varies a bit every night as sunset changes. I can't remember exactly bit I wanna say either 15 or 20 min after official sunset time.

Not sure about IASW, but for carsland, the cast members are usually very vague when telling you the time the lights go on. Sometimes, they don't even know! I recommend looking up the time the sun goes down on your phone, arriving in carsland at that time with a few minutes to spare, and enjoy! It truly is magical!

We usually hang out at Flo's a few minutes before sunset. When you hear " Life is but a dream" head to the street. We like geing in the intersection. Each shops lights come on at a different time, just seconds apart.
Then within a few minutes DJ's Dance Party cones out and the kids get to dance in the street. It's a great time.

I was there last weekend. We watched the fireworks from in front of IASW, and didn't know about the light show. That happened at 9 pm and 9:15 pm. The castmember there said it did it three times, not sure when the other time was.
