Hey all, I have two questions.

First of all, why did they turn around the Indy-ride again????? The only good thing about it was the fact that it went backwards!

Secondly, last time I went (Dec 2004), they told us you couldn't get reservations/ have dinner at the Disneyland hotel-restaurants (California Grill, Inventions) during the weekend, if you didn't have a room at the hotel. Is this still the case? Does a Friday-evening count as weekend (I guess so, just hoping for some reson Disney decided it to be a "regular weekday", lol!) Can you nevertheless get a drink at the Fantasia-bar in the evening, when you don't stay at the hotel?

Thanks for the answers!

To answer your first question, they turned Indy back for two reasons. The first was the rehab of Space Mountain, they wanted to have a coaster for all guests to enjoy. That also includes reason two, the Backward-Ride had scared the most of the guests and the number of passengers had decreased massiv after the turn to backwards.

I don´t really know the answer to your second question but would guess that in Peakdays the Restaurants are just for Hotelguests but in Times like January when it is empty in the park your allowed to eat there all week long. But like I said I am just guessing in this point.

Have a nice Day
Stefan

We stayed on-site although not at Disneyland Hotel in the summer and had no difficulty in having reservation for Inventions.
There is no problem going to Fantasia bar for a drink.
