Two questions from a first timer

Ok,

1. How do the character autographs work? Do you just walk up to them if you see them or is there a special line or setting? Do you just hand them your book and pen? How do we know that we can get any autographs? I'd hate to buy the book and have disappointed kids. Ya know what I mean?

2. Is it hard to rent a stroller in the parks? Do they run out? We don't want to bring one, but I'm sure we'll need it for our 3 year old.

Well, that's more than two questions! Sorry! Thanks for any advice! I'm learning so much!

There are queues for the characters. There is always a cast member "handler" who accompanies the character and keeps everyone in line. When you meet the character, you can pose for pictures, have a little chat, and get their autograph. In some cases, there is a Photopass photographer assigned to each character. Make sure to hand them your Photopass card so they can take pictures. You may of course use your own camera as well.

We didn't have any trouble renting a double stroller. But we were there in January. I imagine that it might be hard to get one later in the day in high season. But if you are there at opening, you should be just fine. You can purchase a length of stay coupon to save a little on your rental.

There are many opportunites to get autographs. We like the Character Connection in Epcot and Camp Minnie Mickey in AK. Also, you could plan a character meal. That way, you don't have to wait in line, the characters come right to your table! To make it easier for the characters, always have your autograph book open to the page you want them to sign, and have the pen ready - larger pens are easier for them to hold. As far as the strollers are concerned, we usually bring our own from home. That way we have it at the resort and downtown disney as well. Have a great trip!

Ditto what everyone else has said! I also highly recommend the character meals since the characters come you!!
