Me (mom - 39), Dh (38), Ds (8), and DD (4) POFQ - 9/19-9/28 - we just got back!

Tusker House Breakfast - Wonderful! The juice is awesome. The characters were fun! The food was great! 8am reservation - out of there by rope drop.

California Grill dinner- nice, romantic. Not great for my four year old who could not sit still but the waiter was great and very understanding! Food was good but not our best meal. Watched Wishes from the top - that was nice and the kids loved it!

Akershus Breakfast - Food was GREAT! We ate A LOT! Princesses were wonderful and so sweet - we saw - Ariel, Cindy, Snow White, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty. But we only saw Belle for the picture and we forgot to get her autograph then! She did not come to the tables.

Coral Reef Dinner - Busy and loud. Food was okay but not the best. Wait staff was rushes and stressed out. Brought kids drinks in breakable glasses that we had to hold for my four year old to drink from - no refills. BUT the Lobster soup was worth the hassle of going there! IT WAS TO DIE FOR! The wave dessert was also GREAT!

Cinderella's Castle Lunch - WONDERFUL FOOD and atmosphere. We had the meat pie and loved it! The dessert was wonderful and the kids loved it! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Whispering Canyon dinner - Fun and loud. Food was good but not great. Loved seeing the Wilderness Lodge. Daughter loved the playfulness but son did not. Too much food! Only go if you are VERY hungry!

Sci-Fi Dine In Lunch - Food was fair but the atmosphere was A+++++! Would go back in a heartbeat. The kids loved it! The movies they show are great!

1900 Park Fare Dinner - poor to fair food but the kids loved seeing the step sisters. They did not care about the food. I liked the strawberry soup. WOuld not go back unless the kids wanted to. The step sisters were funny! Crazy, loud atmosphere though!

to be continued....

Le Cellier lunch - BEST MEAL OF THE TRIP! WONDERFUL! INCREDIBLE! Pretzel bread and cheese soup were beyond my wildest expectations! The Filet was like butter it was so tender! Would pay out of pocket for this meal in a second! We are going back here for dinner next time!

Ohana Dinner - Liked most of the food but it was loud and crazy. Had to order other meals for the kids. Bread pudding was great! Not sure we would return though. Would try Kona next time! We were tired that day though so that colored our view. I did expect it to be better.

Crystal Palace lunch - WONDERFUL! LOVED EVERYTHING! Also a good value. Kids loved the characters. Best buffet in my opinion!

Hoop Dee Doo Revue - Incredible food! Loved the show! We all had a great time! Loved the beer and wine was included! The wait staff was better than anywhere - maybe because their tip is included? Fun! I am still dreaming about the pork ribs - we don't get those in Texas! So GOOD! We want to do this again! It was fun! But there was no transporation back to the resorts after the 5pm show - no one told us. SO we had to go take their buses to DTD and get back to our resort from there. We had left the rental at the hotel that day of all days!

Boma Breakfast - Good food and a good value! Loved it. Loved seeing the resort and animals afterwards. Nice morning for our off day.

Raglan Road Dinner- Good fish and chips and bread pudding but we hated the crowds at DTD! This place is the ONLY place we had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. Most places sat us as we walked in. We waited 35 minutes here! Probably would not go back to DTD ever! HATED IT! Will shop in the parks!

50's Prime Time cafe Lunch - FUN! Great waiter (cousin). Laughed all during the meal. Onion Rings were the best I have ever had. The Peanut butter and jelly shake was so good! BEST SHAKE EVER. WHY did we not order more of those? Food was great - meatloaf and pot roast! Planning on returning to this place! LOVED IT!

Narcoossee's dinner - Wonderful food but not the best of our trip. The atmosphere and wait staff were great! The wine was good! The cheesecake dessert was incredible! Kids loved the pasta! Lobster was good. Nice last meal!

We also had a dinner and a breakfast at POFQ and it was good. Nice choices and we really liked the breakfast - a lot of food!

Favoritre snacks - Dole Whip Float, kaki gori, Frozen lemonade slushie - these were hard to find though - they had rasberry everywhere but it is not as good...

BEST SNACK - zebra domes at Animal Kingdom lodge! INCREDIBLE!

Also wanted to add that we had ADRs for dinner at 5:30ish every night and lunch at first seating - 11:00, 11:30 for some, and 11:45 for the castle.

The crowds were light at 5:15 ish when we checked in but by the time we got out it was VERY busy!

We never waited more than 10 minutes for a table except for Raglan Road.

pooh:
HI did you go to DTD on a weekend or during the week?
Our experience in 2006 & 1998 was it was quiter early in the week but got busier the closer to the weekend. In 2001 we went in October and a lot of people had canceled their trips after 09/11 so one couldn't judge anything on crowds that visit.

DTD was on a weekend but overall it was just too commerial for us and did not have the Disney Magic or Disney feel. I liked the shops in the parks better.

Thanks for the review. You ate at some of our favorite restuarants. I agree CP is one great buffet. We love Tusker House Breakfast buffet...I'm so happy to get a 8:05 for our May trip, I usually get around 9 ish. What did your kids eat at CRT? What did they give your kids at Ohana dinner?
