We've never been to Universal before, as we aren't familiar with most of the movies featured in their attractions- and one major theme park ticket per trip is all this poor mama can afford!! That is, until WWoHP!! We are going to Disney in August and want to see WW. I am considering the 2 park/1 day ticket with transportation that DU is promoting. My question is, will we really get any use out of the 2 park ticket? I know that HP will take a LOT of time, and as DD is a major coaster fan, she will want to do those at IoA also. Will we really have the time to see US too, or should I get the 1 day/1 park ticket and rent a car (to save money, of course!). Thanks!!

If you are going in August I doubt you will have time to do both parks in a single day. If you only have the one day to do the parks, just stick with the one park ticket and go to IOA if that is your main goal. It would be a shame for you to rush through both parks when there is so much to see and do...especially your first time. So unless you can do two full days, just stick with the one park ticket.

I can't imagine doing 2 parks in one day. We just got back from our 2nd day at IOA and had early access both days. Yesterday, I bought the FOTL pass and my DD is too short for the coasters, etc. and we were still in the park for 11 hours total.

My vote is do one day and get a FOTL pass.

We have never been to US either. And are going at the beginning of Sept this year. We bought the 2 park 1 day tix with the Mears transport package from Destinations in Florida. For us, we will be doing both parks in that day that we go. Though we will be skipping alot of things. We will be gearing out visit towards our 5 year old, so that means no roller coasters and a few other rides. Basically, we are planning on doing Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Dr Seuss, Toon Lagoon, The Simpsons, Jaws, Woody Woodpecker, then some shopping and walking around. I prob left a couple of things out, but like I said, most of the big and fast rides we will be skipping so I think we can pull it off in one day...Good luck and have fun!

Unless you want to skip many attractions I would do 1 park a day. There's just too many things to do and I'm sure you'll love both parks. Have fun. :thumbsup2
