Two park days - MK and?

Group of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids 11 and 8) heading to Disney last week of February. Three in the group love rides (crazier the better), the rest don't care for anything too extreme, but can be convinced to possibly try almost anything that doesn't go upside down. Only planning two park days with one being MK. Which other park would you choose HS or AK? Love EPCOT, but with Soarin' closing, don't think there is really enough there to make it worth our while (not getting park hoppers). Thank you for any insight!

It's kind of a toss-up, really, depending on the interests of the people involved. I'd ask the group for their opinions if the trip's not a surprise/secret.

AK: Everest, Dinosaur, Safari, Kali River Rapids (could be too cold for this one in Feb depending on weather), the stuff in Dinoland, Festival of the Lion King show, Finding Nemo musical, Flights of Wonder show, the animal walking trails.

DHS: Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Beauty and the Beast musical, Lights Motors Action show (barring rumored upcoming closure), Indiana Jones show (ditto), the Frozen sing-along show, Little Mermaid show. Also, Fantasmic for nighttime entertainment.

Personally, I'd pick DHS, but it is in a state of flux right now and it's possible some things may close or change before your trip.

That's when I'll be there next! Yay! I would chose HS - if I didn't decide to do MK for both days. From the way it sounds, you can talk everybody into doing all the rides except RNRC. Then there are several shows if anyone likes those type activities. I hesitate though to recommend it for others because many people can't fill a whole day because there isn't enough activities that they want to see or do. I can because we like to start late, take it slow, makes lots of stops, shop, pick out a few shows (but some people don't like to see shows they've seen before) ride most of the rides, eat a leisurely meal and see Fantasmic! Sounds like HS would work better for your group, but again, you'll have to decide if there are enough things for everyone to have a fun filled day. Either way, it's Disney! It'll be magical!

That's a hard choice. I would probably choose DHS since it has more rides.

My second park would be MK!!

I could easily fill 2 days in the MK.

If you absolutely need another, DHS is my next choice, because you can fill time with shows. I don't love AK, and EPCOT without Soarin' seems so meh.

I agree that it is a difficult decision. However, I would also go with the Studios. Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, Movie Ride, Star Tours, Muppets, lots of shows (and, if you do convince them to go upside down, Rock n Roller Coaster). A good time! You can also have a fun dinner at 50s Prime Time or Sci Fi Dine in!
