Hello- Just got back on Monday and ready to share some thoughts with yall~ I think I'll do it in kind of a bullet point fashion for quick reading. It was AWESOME and I think February is a GREAT time to go! (except I would avoid President's Day!)

-LOVED the Dining Plan! We definitely did not go hungry! However, I wouldn't do Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace 2 nights in a row since they are basically the same meal. (buffet) DD4 LOVED both places, especially the "Celebrate" song at Chef Mickey's. She was twirling her napkin with the best of 'em!

-One question about food. Anyone else find it weird that pizza is NOT on the kids menu at Pizzafari at AK? We told her we were going for pizza, so I got one and let her eat it and I ate the kids quesadilla meal.

-Turtle Talk w/Crush at Epcot was FABULOUS. DD smiled from ear to ear and is still quoting Crush (Duuuudddee) However, if we had waited in line long for the Nemo ride, I would have been disappointed. It was fine, we enjoyed it but it definitely wasn't that exciting. Luckily, we were there in the evening and walked right on.

-We were there the very first night of a new menu at Spoodles! The appetizers and desserts were to die for (Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee anyone?) BUt the Meditteranean flavors on the entrees were a bit much for DH and I . It didn't really matter, though, because the bread w/ dipping oil, appetizers, and desserts were PLENTY. DD4 LOVED the make it yourself Ice Cream Sundae!

-We had the best luck with lines. Basically, there weren't any. Except Dumbo, but that's OK, we did it anyway. Only really long one was Jungle Cruise, we didn't get there til the afternoon, I just wanted to do it for nostalgic reasons. Saturday morning, got there at opening, with what looked like thousands of people ahead of us, and still, somehow, we rode 6 rides in 1 hour and 15 minutes including Space Mountain. Yes DD4 went on it but she was scared afterward. I wouldn't let her do it again. We were the VERY FIRST people on Peter Pan. Walked right on to Mad Tea Party and Alice and Mad Hatter rode along! Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, Haunted Mansion,Mickey's Philharmagic....

-Which reminds me.....GO TO Philharmagic! Even if you think you don't "Do" shows, this one is pure magic. We loved it!!!! Also, Tough to Be a Bug at AK is great! We watched this one twice! I was sad to see that MuppetVision at MGM is showing its age but it was nice to see it and the theater is pretty inside. Just kind of anticlimatic after Tough to Be a Bug.

-If you have little kids, try for Breakfast at "play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine" at MGM. JoJo, Goliath and 2 of the kids from Playhouse Disney are there and the kids get to join them in songs and dances. It was a blast. Then, you are right at the entrance at opening time! (again, no lines!)

Kali River Rapids at AK was fun, but extremely SHORT. I would have been upset if I'd waited an hour to go on it, simply because it's over as soon as it starts. But it's fun, and prepared to GET WET!

Stayed at POQ and rented a car, very pleased with accomodations. I can't imangine how beautiful it must be in the spring time when everything is in bloom!!

-We spent the first 2 days at Magic Kingdom (DD4 LOVED Splash Mountain, we did it 6 times;Hello Fast Pass on Friday afternoon!) and back again Monday (No lines Monday morning for Splash Mountain) and split up Animal Kingdom and Epcot one day, MGM Monday morning and back to MK to end it with a Splash.

- We had the BEST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!February seems to me like an ideal time to go, the weather was incredible and the lines were short. We could not have been happier.

Glad you had a good time. We've been in February also. Very enjoyable time to go. IA with you about Mickey's Philarmagic. Isn't that an awesome attraction?

We went in February, too, this year; got back on the 7th! Weather was too cool for swimming, but it was great to tour the parks without sweating, LOL! Crowds were non-existent; another definite plus! However, with worrying about avoiding the flu and then all the bad weather messing up travel, I would be very hesitant to go in February again (we're in Iowa). However, if you are from a warm-weather state and don't have the weather worries, I say go for it!

Good Point, Ann in Iowa! Winter travel would definitely be tricky for some!

Yes, if we had gone only one week later, we would have had nothing but trouble as our connections were in Cincinnati...and every Wednesday since we returned all we've heard about our delays and cancellations in Cincinnati due to weather!!
