This is going to be just what we said -- a two-in-one report. I am going to Disney February 10-17, staying at Pop Century, and Katie is going March 13-20, and staying at Boardwalk Villas. The reason we decided to combine our trips is because both of our former TRs from last year got moved to the "completed" trip report section due to us not having updated our respective reports from last year for a few weeks (mostly due to finals craziness.) Katie had the idea, and figured that if there are two of us working on the same thread, the chances of it getting moved due to lack of updating is much slimmer. I agreed with that logic, so here we are!
How do two girls from two different states (Massachusetts and New York) know each other, and how did they decide to do a TR together? The DISboards, obviously. We both posted on the thread of another DISer, and when we both started our respective reports, we were always reading and commenting on each other's reports (and sometimes following each other around the boards

Last May, when going out to Ohio to visit family with my dad and my younger brother, Katie and I got to make plans to meet up. I was strung out on caffeine and four hours of interrupted sleep, mostly due to travel anxieties (I don't always travel well), but I got to meet Katie and her boyfriend, Patrick, and we all had lunch together.
Katie is the on the left, representing Disney, and I'm on the right, representing...well, Boston. In my defense, I am holding the Eeyore that she picked up for me on her trip.

Some background on my trip:
This trip is a do-over trip for us. Last year, my dad had a stomach bug or food poisoning that kept him from getting out for the first 2 or 3 days. My sister had a cold and then got some kind of small stomach bug just when my dad was finally getting out and was ready to go. It wasn't until towards the end of our week-long trip that we all managed to get out and about as a family. There were also two things (parasailing and an Epcot segway tour) that ended up not happening due to all the sickness. We still had a great time, but we were definitely anticipating a do-over the next year.
The cast of Megablocks' trip report:
Me (Meghan, 25) and DSis (Kailyn, 16 -- turning 17 on the trip!)

My parents (will just be referred to as Mom and Dad)

And, not a person, but rather an inanimate object...the glasses. Found sitting in an antique store in Ohio in the summer of 2008, these glasses have become a rather large part of our Disney pictures.

The cast of DisKate's report:
Katie, her mom, and her younger sister, Kris

and Katie's boyfriend, Patrick.

Also, from now on, when doing updates, Katie and I will be using different-colored fonts. I'll be writing in red and Katie will make her color of choice known.

Thanks for reading!
