Two DIS CON mini-meet questions

Unfortunately, I don't arrive until 11/29 (the day after the Convention starts), so I am not able to purchase tickets for the DIS CON, but I will be attending many of the mini meets. However, I have two questions:

1) Because I will be missing the sign-up for the mini meets on the 28th, can I still attend the meets without my name being on the list (please??)?

2) I'd love to do the Osborne Lights mini meet on 11/29, but I've been reading that this is for only those doing the Fantasmic Dessert Party that night? Can non-FDP people attend?

Debi, as far as I know anyone can attend the Mini-meets not just the Dis-Con People. But I could be wrong.

The Mini-Meet for the osborne Lights has not gotten an official blessing yet, but it was only suggested for those doing the Dessert Party because they were going to be there anyhow but I am sure others will attend.

I am still waiting to hear confirmation back from Linda on that.

I did the itenerary for ease of use, but on my own free will and without Lindas and Petes consent (though hopefully they will like it) so it is not technically an official one, although I did take the information straight from the boards. So any ommisions or suppositions are my fault.

Hi Debi.

I'm not sure about this, but I think most of the sign-ups will be to get an approximate count for the mini meets. If we're off by a few (or more ) because other DIS'ers decide to join us, I doubt that will matter too much!

It isn't official yet, but I imagine that the Osborne Light meets will be open to anyone, not just those doing the FDP.

LOL! I've never been to WDW during the holiday festivities, so I'm really looking forward to the Osborne Lights. I'd imagine we'd just split up after the Osborne Lights?

Hi Debi. Yes, a big group will be going to the Fantasmic Dessert Party (convention event), but depending on which night you go, different people will be doing different things.....and I'm sure big groups of DIS'ers will be found everywhere! If you do the lights on Friday night, you can head to EPCOT and join SSB's DATW II Tour.
