Two DAS questions

There are 7 of us traveling from 3 different locations and meeting at WDW. 3 of the 7 will qualify for DAS.
On different days and different times some will go with one DAS person and others will go with another DAS person but on another day we are doing different groups to do different things. I understand I can’t be on two different advanced DAS. But if me and my niece want to go with my DAS child for this ride but later in the day my niece wants to go with her DAS grandmother, is that ok as long as my niece isn’t overlapping DAS at the same time?

Second, I see the preregistration 2-30 days before your visit. Is that 30 days prior to the LAST day of our trip?

Thanks!!!

For question 1 - the person registered for DAS can only be on their own DAS and can’t be listed on someone else’s. Make sure everyone is listed in the Friends & Family of the My Disney Experience app so they can be linked.
I don’t know how big your group is, but the usual number for DAS is 6 (5 plus the person with the disability). Groups larger than that are exceptions and may havr to be authorized at a park. I can‘t say for sure, but the CMs may be reluctant to allow people to be listed on multiple DAS if the groups are larger than 6.

Other members of your group can be listed as members of multiple DAS groups, but can only have one active DAS Return Time at a time. DAS Return Times remain active until used, cancelled or the park/attraction closes for the day. So, if your niece is listed on a DAS Return Time with you and your daughter, the niece would have to use or cancel that one before she can be added to one for grandma.

For question 2 - DAS video registration can be done 30-2 days before your first park visit. (NOTE: it is specified as ‘park visit’, not first day of your stay)
But, the WDW website says for DAS Advance Selections all park visits must be within 30 to 2 days of the live chat. People have had various experiences with that. Some CMs are holding strictly to that, which would mean 30 days from your last park visit. Others are doing DAS Advance Selections for the entire stay, even those that are after 30 days.

if I understand what you are asking a person with a DAS can not go with another person with a different DAS unless both DAS people have a return time. if a nonDAS person wanting to go with DAS person that person should be able to go with both DAS in a day just can not return time with each at same time

each DAS person is on their own DAS.
The rest of the group can be on all the DASs, but the DAS people themselves can only be in their own DAS.
I haven't been in the parks yet, so i don't know how it looks inside the app.
The CM told me that i'll be able to see both DASs in the app, but i don't know yet as we only go later this month.
I screwed up a bit when setting them up, so our advance selections aren't all synced, but the CM said i should have no problem for booking the in the parks DAS selections.
i hope it works out smoothly. Time will tell.
i hadn't expected to have two DAS people, but my husband was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, so you know, as they say, stuff happens to change your plans.
So we have the two DAS registrations.
I'm not actually sure how much my husband will be in the parks given the surface-of-the-sun heat.
But as a shirt i recently saw says, "life is short, take the trip, buy the ears, eat the whip"
words to live by

Sorry about your changed circumstances. Sending wishes for a magical trip with many happy memories.

I don’t have a screenshot of how My Disney Experience looks with 2 DAS users. It will look similar to this, but you will have your second user under ‘Registered Guest’.

Because my family only has one DAS Registered Guest, her name is automatically checked when we go in to make a DAS Return Time.
To make a DAS Return Time including both DAS users and all the linked people, you can check ‘Select All’.
For a DAS Return Time for only one DAS user, just check that user and the guests to link to the DAS. You can make a separate DAS Return Time for the other user. Only the guests who were not included in the first DAS Return Time will be available for the second DAS Return Time.
