Two credit cards on the same dining plan...

Hello! I have a room booked at BC for myself and my niece (age 4) and we are on the Deluxe Dining Plan. I recently added my mother to my room (she was originally going to share a room with Dad but he backed out of the trip so I offered to let her stay with me). We plan to add our individual credit cards to our MagicBand accounts upon check-in; if done correctly, this should allow us to keep our purchases separate. I know that we can't split our dining credits (as they are pooled for the room) but I would like to at least receive separate checks for our TS meals (this way, we can each pay for our own gratuities and beverages). Is this possible?

From my experience double check when you get there to make sure that they have the correct card linked to the right person. Also a day or two into your trip I would ask for a quick print out to make sure that everything is good to go. If you wait until the end you may have a mess at the end our your trip.

Thanks, Bucky! I had planned on double-checking on the second day. Here's my primary concern--on previous trips, I have roomed alone and never had to worry about splitting gratuities. Also, I plan to pay for my niece's gratuities and have a glass of wine with dinner each day. Is there a way to charge my (and my niece's) grats and my beverages to my card and my mom's grats to her card? Will requesting separate checks and then offering our separate MagicBands for payment so the trick, even though we are pulling from the same pool of dining credits?

Yes separate checks would be the best bet.

Agreed two checks. Just make sure you let your server know this when ordering so it won't be an issue at the end of the meal. This way yours and your niece's orders will be on one and your mom will have her separate bill

Thanks, Hopefully and Bucky! So, just to be clear, we can get separate checks even though we're on the same dining plan, right? Also, would we be able to charge our own credit cards via MagicBands or will we need to settle those with cash at the restaurant in order to ensure that my Mom is not paying for my grats/drinks?
