Two college program alum reunite in wdw and take on the yeti - may 2013 ptr

To all who come to read this PTR, WELCOME!

We are Natasha and Lisa -- two twenty-something ladies who have Disney on the brain. We met while participating in the Disney College Program in Spring 2011 and have been besties ever since!

​

Since our program ended in May 2011, we have been lucky enough to see each other a few times (one of us lives in Georgia, the other in Hawaii) and are SO excited to be meeting up again in the place that started it all this May! We will be running the Expedition Everest Challenge together and celebrating a certain someone's birthday (hint: it's Lisa's) all in the most magical place on earth!​

Before we get any further, here are some introductions...​

Aloha! My name is Natasha and I live in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. I am a wife to my wonderful husband, a mommy to our sweet pup, and a self-proclaimed Disneyholic. During my college program I worked as a Full Service Food & Beverage Hostess at Cinderella's Royal Table and after a short Disney employment hiatus, am extremely happy to again be employed by the mouse as a Front Desk Agent at Aulani. In my free time I like to read, surf, and cook! With my love of cooking, comes my love of eating -- and of course Disney dining excites me like no other! I am so excited to be doing this PTR with Lisa!

Hey y'all! I'm Lisa and I'm from Marietta, Georgia (Geo for short). I work Front Desk here for another major hotel brand and in my spare time I like to read (a LOT), bake, and spend time with my amazing boyfriend Kyle and our puppy Stella. Doing the college program was one of the best experiences of my life and it only fueled my Disney obsession even more. Like Natasha, I did Full Service Food & Beverage, but I was at the Polynesian Resort- first at the Kona Cafe and then also at 'Ohana (which has basically the best food on earth). I am still seasonal with Disney, which means I am lucky enough to go down to Orlando several times per year to catch up, work some hours, and make some magic. I'll be travelling to Florida with my Mom and Kyle and I can't wait to get down there!​

Since this is a joint PTR (and will eventually be a joint TR) Natasha will be writing in PURPLE from now on and Lisa will be writing in GREEN so you can find our posts. Or you can just use the links below ​

Hello! I just found this thread by doing a search because my daughter will be starting the DCP for the Fall in August and got chosen for the Full Service Food and Beverage. I hope she gets a great location like you guys did! I want to read your trip report but don't see the link!
