After he listened to my rant, which was even longer than the one I expressed here on the Dis, he decides to tell me that he "isn't really a fan." Do THEY ever learn? If he'd been within range, he might have gotton a faceful of hairspray...

Just stopping in to say hi and happy March! I got my hair done on Friday and came thisclose to cutting my hair short like yours. But I chickened out at the last minute. I'm just so afraid that my hair will poof out like a poodle's if I chop it all off. It stinks because I think it would be so cute if I could get it to lay right. Ah well, maybe next time.

Hey Em! The packing is going well, slow, but well. I hope you post pics of your hair on your ptr! I've gone to get my hair done a few times thinking that I am going to cut it shorter than my chin, but I always chicken out. I bet it looks great, though!

OMG, I can't believe that it is less than two weeks until TBM. It's all becoming very real. I've been spending time with my friends here in DC, all of them seem to have just now realized that I am leaving in less than two weeks. Many of my evenings are rapidly filling. And I am going crazy thinking about all the things that still need to be done!

So...I'm sure everyone, if you aren't actually getting the crazy snowstorm, then you've heard about it. We got a ton of snow dumped on us last night. Ok, so, I'm from Texas, so a "ton of snow" means any accumulation of snow, pretty much. Anyway, I am not in the office today, because I don't deal with the snow well. I'm ready to be back in Texas, in the warm weather!

I discovered a new cd this weekend, and it's been the only thing I've been listening to for the past few days. I grew up on stage, so musical theatre holds a special place in my heart. This weekend I discovered the Seussical the Musical soundtrack. It's fantastic. I spent the weekend packing and singing along (loudly, don't y'all feel for my neighbors?). Admittedly, I got very little packing done once I had nearly emptied my living room of all but the couch and the piano. By THAT time I had discovered that I had plenty of room to dance around and sing as well. To the point of being sore! And as I take two dance classes a week, and work out 4x a week, that's saying something. I was having so much fun. I think at one point I acted out the entire show, or at least all the songs! It is my current desire to play The Cat in the Hat in Seussical. If you haven't seen the show (which I haven't) or heard the music and you enjoy musical theatre, I would suggest that you check it out! Particularly the songs "Oh, the Thinks you can Think!", "A Day for the Cat in the Hat," "How Lucky You Are," and "It's Possible." Such good music.

One final piece of news....I've talked briefly about how I am working on losing weight before the many things I have coming up this year, including the Disney trip. Well, I met my first goal, with 13 days to spare! 20 pounds before I move back to Texas! Wahoo!! Thanks to all of you for the support, especially Rabbit, who gives me all sorts of wonderful advice and encouragement!! for you all and I hope you are all staying warm!!

Ohhh congratulations on the 20 lbs girl!!! TBM is coming up so fast. I love putting on a CD and just dancing around like no one is watching. So fun!!! I've never heard the music from that musical I'll have to look into it. Good luck with the snow. We got about 15 inches. UGH! I hate it. Well like they say in like a lion out like a lamb. Way to go on 20 pounds..that's an accomplishment. I need to get working on it too but lately haven't felt like doing much. I'm stressed with school and other things. But hopefully things will settle down soon.

I know you're getting excited about TBM and I can't begin to imagine what it's like for you. Good luck though

Okay so I have like $9.26 in iTunes credits left over from Christmas...I was previewing the CD and I really like it. I have a fondness for musicals so I might have to use my remaining credits to buy it.

Thanks! I am counting calories, and working out. Right now I am training for a 5K and a 10K, so lots of running. And I gave up soda. Which was pretty big for me, cause I love Dr. Pepper!

Thanks! I know, only a few days left until TBM. Right now, I am about 40% excited, 60% stressed. I have some things packed, I don't have other things packed...it's all crazy.

Sometimes I miss the snow. Once, it snowed 34" on the weekend that we were moving. That was...interesting...to say the least. TBM is right around the corner. I saw kids in shorts and t-shirts going to school this morning. We got a cold snap all the way down here, but in typcial Texas fashion, we are bouncing right back up. I think we were in the 70s yesterday! We just don't want it to get too hot too fast.

So, after much deliberation, Kelly and I decided to CHANGE OUR RESORT!!

Yes, we have, although this will probably not be the last change that we make between now and October 21st (when the final payment is due!!), because I am becoming a chronic reservation changer. As Kelly will attest to. So, we poured over the Disney website, the Disboards, and talked about what we could afford and such, and based on all of those careful considerations, we came to a decision. We've decided to stay at .............................................................................................

Anyway, here are 5 pics of the resort that Kelly and I have changed our ressie to. Oh; it's so nice here right now! But, we keep having crazy 40degrees then 80degrees the next day weather. Everyone is constantly sick!!
