pirate: OK, so I'm planning a birthday surprise for my DW who will be turning 40 in October during our trip to WDW with our DS4. Do you think that planning a character breakfast and dinner during the same day would be an overkill?

nope, not at all! we did it a few times during our last trip, and probably will again this trip!

what you might want to do is vary the characters you see (i.e. princess and mickey or pooh/gang and donald's) as well as the type of food (buffet and pre-plated and family service) so it doesn't feel like "btdt!"

ENJOY :flower:

I think it would be fun if you do an early breakfast with some characters and then a later dinner with totally different characters =)

We did CP for breakfast and Chef Mickey's for dinner and had a great time!

pirate: Great. Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll go ahead and plan both for my DW's birthday.

We are doing Crystal Palace and Cindy's in the same day. We did a lot of 2 character meals a day last year because we didn't go for very long. The kids loved it! WE loved it!
