Hi Everyone!

Well.... I am very sad to report that we are back from our Two Big Kids with No Kids 10 yr Anniversary Trip at the World. I think I could go back in a couple days for another week... DH says he's ready to be home, but could go back again next year. (Now you tell me who the real Disney fan is in this marriage!) ;)

Thanks everyone for all of your tips and advice! For those of you that live near enough to the World to visit it like I can do at Disneyland, you are so very lucky.

We had a great trip overall and if you all want it, I will be happy to share a trip report with you since so many of you helped me with so many questions. However, since this really is the DL board, thought I'd see the interest before going there. Let me know what you all would like.

For now, I will just leave it at this:

Two Big Kids with No Kids 10 yr Anniversary Trip at the World by the Numbers
10 years of marriage to be celebrated
9 entertaining parades and/or shows
8 days of adventure, discovery, laughter, and magic
7 nights of beautiful twinkling lights
6 ADR meals that were absolutely fabulous
5 x 5 Disney Characters that I got my picture taken with (yep, 25!!!)
4 parks with SO much to see
3 incredible experiences that are trip highlights
2 big kids with no kids loose in the World to do whatever they wanted
1 memorable celebration vacation we will forever look back on with smiles

Hi there--I am leaving on Halloween for my first WDW trip so would love to hear more about your adventures from the perspective of a Disneylander (I also go often to DLR).

TIA!

I'd love to hear your adventures!! We leave in 3 weeks for the World, and consider ourselves DL vets- I probably average 12-15 days a year in DLR. Looking forward to your thoughts! We'll have 7 park days in WDW, and a split stay on and offsite.

That is always my favorite site seeing "Partners" Right in front of the Castle it just makes it all come to life a little more.

I spent most of my life going to WDW, I'm from Florida and always lived on the east coast. Now I live 4 hours from Disneyland and have made it my new Disney park! :lovestruc I would love to hear about your trip to the World! So happy to hear that you had a great time! :goodvibes

So excited for you both! Asked DH this morning if he's ready to go back! :goodvibes SillyLittlePixie, we did 7 days, split stay onsite. I will be sure to include some insights on that aspect of our trip for your benefit.

I agree. Wasn't sure how my picture would turn out. I'm happy with it. The WDW castle is just sooooo big!

Thanks for your interest. How lucky you were to be so close to the World. SOOOO overwhelming for just 7 days!

Seems people are interested so I will get working on my trip report. Stay tuned. Been going through photos all day. (Almost makes me feel like I am still there.... almost.)

I can't wait to read your TR! WDW is my usual love, but am looking forward to visiting DLR.

DH and I eloped to Orlando. We were married at the botanical gardens and honeymooned at WDW.

They made our honeymoon sooo special, and it was one of the best weeks of my life.

I can't wait to read about the magic they gave you all! :lovestruc

Oh, and congrats on 10 years!
