Sounds like your having a great time so far, Enjoy the rest of your trip can't wait to read more:cool1: . Can't wait to see more pics. You and DH  look cute on the boat.

Back at home after Magic Kingdom Extra Magic Hours. We were non-stop Disney fanatics for the last 5 hours. I've never been able to do so much in such a short time. Big Thunder Railroad (2x), Monsters Inc., Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mickey's PhilharMagic. Plus we had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern.

It was still really hot out, even at midnight. I am so glad we weren't there fighting the crowds at high noon, we might have lasted through two attractions.

I'll give a full report tomorrow! This kid needs some SLEEP.

Dessert. Gelato sampler. Chocolate, passion fruit, strawberry, and peach.

I am so glad we used the dining plan for this meal. Check total before tip: $181 !! Can you believe that. Well if we weren't on the dining plan we wouldn't have ordered TWO appetizers and TWO desserts. But it was really fun to try all that food. Two nights at Narcoosee's and we are at the half way point for covering our Dining Plan cost. Something that makes this normally budget crazy girl VERY happy.

Side-note: Just received an e-mail from one of my friends. I am missing TRIPLE coupon day at our grocery store this weekend. Triple coupon day happens randomly every 3 or 4 months and when it does, I clean up. I can usually buy $100 of groceries for $10-$20. I am sad that I am missing the savings but not too sad because I am HERE! :thumbsup2

For this trip, I am so happy that we are on the Dining Plan. It is so nice to eat at all the Signature Restaurants and not worry about conserving points (skipping meals/strategizing most bang for your buck).

Yum! Great update.

Who needs TRIPLE coupon day when you're at the happiest place on earth with your honey-right?

Sounds like your having a great time! Happy Anniversary! I'm so jealous I still have 3 weeks to go. I'm so ready to go and pack my suitcase now! Keep us posted!popcorn::

Your Dinner loked so good. We will be there friday for 15 days can't wait:dance3: . Can't wait to hear morepopcorn:: .

Today was our Beach Club Villa & Storm Along Bay Day! I LOVE BEACH CLUB! I can't wait until next March when we stay for an entire week. :woohoo:

Ok, the reason we had a one day stay over at Beach Club in the middle of our week, was due technicalities concerning use year and points expiration. We bought our Beach Club points through the secondary market. Ours came with 2007 points set to expire on August 31, 2008. We used some at Hilton Head a couple weekends ago but still had 17 points. Last week, probably at 3 am while reading the DIS Boards, I had a brainstorm--Let's see if we can get one night at the beach club so we can use the pool for a whole day?

Well we were able to get a studio for one night!!! YIPPEE it was only 14 points. These points were just going to be lost so we booked it.

I want to give you guys a full report on the beach club pool but we have dinner reservation at 7:20.

Thanks for reading along. I may not write again tonight. The movie on the Beach tonight is National Treasure and we are thinking of settling in for a seaside movie screening. popcorn::

Below is one of my favorite Disney pictures and this captures the spirit of why I love Disney World enough to vacation here as often as possible.

Me and my mom sitting on a bench at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Nothing flashy or extreme about this photo but it captures a special moment between my mom and I. When this photo was taken, I bet it was near the end of a long day of running around the park. I'm sure we were exhausted and collapsed onto that bench. Not sure what inspired her to pull me in and give me a smooch but looking at the photo reminds me of how close I feel to my family when we are here.

I've been watching a lot of families this week and I love seeing those special small moments. The hugs, the laughs....it is heartwarming to see.

Yesterday, while we were eating lunch at Coral Reef ( I know, I know I owe you a Sunday trip report!) we were seated next to a family with 3 small boys. Oldest probably 5, middle 3 and youngest 1. At first the dad looked kinda uncomfortable. The mom was feeding the baby and he was a little bit messy and banging spoons. The older two were coloring and concentrating on their chocolate milks. Midway through the meal the 5 year old said he wasn't hungry....well he hadn't eaten two bites of his kids pizza. The dad rather than saying eat it and be quiet, said I bet i can eat a slice faster than you. The little boys eyes lit up--he wanted to challenge his dad. So the boy passed a slice over to his dad and they both started chomping away.

The dad looked like he had made this challenge before and folded his slice down the middle and started off strong. The little boy was watching and you should have seen his face when he realized he could fold his pizza in half and eat double time too. The dad, being a good dad, did lots of exaggerated chewing and let the little boy win.

I know, a really simple thing, but I loved seeing a family focused on each other.

After our late dinner at Narcoosee’s , we slept in Sunday morning. I woke up before DH, so I went down to Muscles and Bustles and did a little marathon training. By the time I finished at the gym, DH was up and hungry. So I showered quickly and we made our way down to the bakery. We used two snack credits to get a chocolate croissant & a blueberry muffin (coffee and tea were free with our mugs). We sat outside on the board walk and enjoyed watching people walk by.

Fueled up, we headed to EPCOT. Of course, like everyone else that goes to EPCOT, we headed to get Soarin’ fast passes. The park was packed at 10 am and the return time for Soarin’ Fast passes was already 4:30!! Wow! We weren’t planning on staying in EPCOT the whole day so we didn’t get the passes and headed back upstairs in search of a ride with a smaller line. However, our trip to the Land was not in vain…Mickey, Chip, and Dale were at the top of the stairs!! After a couple of photos we headed back out into the HOT FLORIDA SUN.

Of course the first thing we saw was the giant golf ball. So we said, “Why not?” When we arrived at the golf ball, the line was long! Three or four tour groups were in front of us. Singing and creating a very festive atmosphere.
This picture shows the line and some of the Brazilian tour group in front of us. So many tours of Brazilian students are here right now. I guess it is their winter right now so they are getting warm.

We loved Spaceship Earth. I could tell that DH’s esteem for EPCOT increased after this ride. As soon as the ride ended, he asked me for the EPCOT brochure because he wanted to look at the park map to figure out where to go next. We actually only had 30 minutes before our ADR at Coral Reef, so we ducked into Innovations East to enjoy the A/C and escape the blistering heat. Inside Innovations, they were just starting a 25 minute tour of the house of tomorrow (not sure of the exact name). It was an interesting tour and fun to see the gadgets. DH is a huge fan of technology so he really appreciated the tour. After the tour, we headed to Coral Reef for our lunch. I’ve never been to Coral Reef before so I was crossing my fingers that it would be good. We really enjoyed our lunch. Phew! I always worry that something won’t be good and I want DH to love everything. I had the Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Salad Sandwich, and Mango Sorbet. DH had the surf & turf appetizer (grilled shrimp and steak skewer), Lobster Salad Sandwich, and the Chocolate Wave.

DH with his second lobster meal of the trip.

For being only one dining credit, I think Coral Reef is a dining plan value. I loved the blue and green tile work on the walls. The restaurant has a very soothing atmosphere. At the end of the meal, DH asked our waiter why the sharks weren’t eating up all the little fish (something he had been watching for the entire meal). He was ready to see some carnage! Our waiter actually had the answer. Disney being the family friendly place that we all know and love has trained its sharks to be gentle! They feed them sliced up pieces of fish but lay them at the bottom of the aquarium. Disney sharks do not associate swimming fish with food. Plus they feed them often, so they are never hungry.

After lunch we went to Imagination, where we were able to walk onto Journey Into Imagination With Figment ( I would never wait for this ride but I bet little kids would like all the colors and movement on this ride—plus it was Air Conditioned). Then we went to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. DH and I both love 3D movies so we liked this one a lot. The special effects (chair bouncing, mice by your feet, and water) made it exciting. :3dglasses

After Imagination, we decided to go back to our room. I had promised DH that he could have a nap today since we were going to Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom tonight until 2 am. On our way out we hit the gift shops. In England, DH bought a cute Beatles Yellow Submarine t-shirt. I really liked this Mickey Apron (I cook a lot more now that I am a wife!!). I didn’t buy it because I am trying to limit myself to one souvenir so I will wait to later in the week to make my souvenir decision.

Sitting out on our balcony right now. The afternoon rain shower, which has become a daily event, just finished up. Kids are running out to the pool from all directions. I bet they were sitting in their rooms, noses pressed against the glass, willing the skies to dry up so they could get back out to the twirly clown slide.

This morning we spent some time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Parks are so crowded right now. We went on the Great Movie Ride but waited for 50 minutes and Tower of Terror (with a fast pass took about 30 minutes to get on the ride).

As we exited the Tower of Terror the sky turned dark. We looked at each other and I said Eeck! Let’s GO! We walked over to the park this morning from the Boardwalk so we needed to skedaddle if we planned on staying dry. Since I’ve been training for the marine corps marathon, I have been listening to marine corps running cadences…the ones that say whoo-wah a lot and fired up! I chanted a few of these…where we gonna go when we get back, gonna take a shower and hit the rack. So I chanted and we jogged back…LUCKILY! Just as we reached the community hall the skies opened up and the thunder claps began!

We ducked into the community house and played 3 competitive games of ping pong. Unfortunately, I lost all three games. I’m getting better but the DH is really good.

Defeated and exhausted, I came back to the room and sat on the couch and watched an hour of Disney t.v. :happytv:

Hey, just reading today. Sounds like you are having a great time! I'll have to practice up on the running cadences, maybe it'll help my bf keep up to me! Enjoying the food pics, who thought one could eat so much lobster in so few days? Yum!

I had the Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Salad Sandwich, and Mango Sorbet. DH had the surf & turf appetizer (grilled shrimp and steak skewer), Lobster Salad Sandwich, and the Chocolate Wave.

Hmm, lobster 2 days in a row. I am beginning to sense a trend!

Sounds like your having a good time LOBSTER YUM!!!!! What time have the storms been rolling in? We will arrive on Fri. :dance3: . Hope the crowds start to thin out. Can't wait to hear more popcorn::
