Two Aussie first-timers in Disney! Lots of photos! NEW- FINAL CHAPTER! - Ch 20, Pg 30

Yaaaay! She's back.

What a bummer you couldn't buy the boots. I am curious, why not buy another suitcase???

I soooo can't wait for the Ireland pictures. And you DO NOT ramble. We love every word you type!!

we missed you!

loved this installment as I did all the rest. Cant wait for the next one:thumbsup2

Just dropped in to say how much I'm enjoying reading your trippie! I discovered it yesterday. I was afraid to skip to the end because I didn't want to see any spoilers.

You are a terrific writer. I feel like I've been tagging along with you. You hooked me with your pop culture references. X-Files, Bones, Angel, Dirty Dancing, Midnight, etc. I've never been to Savannah, but I met a woman who worked for the prosecutor in that case. I can't remember his name, but she said that he really is a nice man and didn't like how he was portrayed. I don't remember too much about the book or movie. Only I liked the book the better because the author did such a great job describing everything (except I could have lived without reading about the main character's crowns falling out in jail exposing his nubby teeth).

I can't wait to read about Ireland. Oh, back in the eighties, an Aussie show called Animal Crackers came on Nickelodeon. Have you heard of that show? It was about a family that ran a zoo. I always wondered if real Aussies watched that show.

Just wanted to see if you get Showtime down there? David Duchovny has a new show starting August 13th on this channel.

Oh no! I didn't want that last installment to end. Alas, I know that one day you will finish the report and I will always be wishing for more of your lovely descriptions.
First off- I am concerned that your memory was wiped on the flight! Was it aliens? Was it some governmental cover up?? That could have been an interesting bit of report but we will never know for sure.
I enjoyed the photo of your DF looking enthused at the view! I have a few photos of my DH with a similar look.
You were sick of eating at nice places! Well, I must admit that St. Pauls pub sounds like the place to be!

Looking forward to tagging along on your trip to Ireland and getting to see your sister!:cutie:

Wow. I just spent all day (shhhh - don't tell my boss) reading your trip report. :surfweb:

It is absolutely fantastic. What wonderful memories you have made!

Oh I'm so glad you're back. Thank you for another amazing chapter. The photos of the city were breathtaking and your df is pretty good "eye candy" too. Just teasing you - but you are such a cute couple.

I kept reading your reports out loud to my dh and now thanks to your brilliant way with words and excellent photos we're going back to NYC this August. (The cheap airfare sealed the deal!)

I can't wait to read about Ireland - and share it with my dh - do you suppose I could get that lucky to get a trip to Ireland out of the deal??? :lmao: Oh well, a girl can dream . . .

Hi Julie, :flower3:

I am Sue88's sister. She told me to come read your exciting report so here I am. Yes, I read the whole thing. No, not in one sitting.:rotfl2:

Anyway you do have a gift. I have always wanted to visit Savannah and NY and now I know that I really must do it.

Sue mentioned St Augustine Fl. to you and you were not familure with it. It is in North Florida and from what I hear it is very simular in feel to Savannah (with out the John Cusack-Kevin Spacey connection) (I'm a Cusack fan!)

Loving your report and can't wait to hear the rest.

Hi Sue:wave2:

MJ

So glad to see you're back!!! Loved the pics of Montreal and your hotel room looked beautiful! Can't wait to hear about your visit with your sister in Ireland. Hurry Back with more exciting trip report adventures:cool1:

Hilarious installment! I love the french speaking paragraphs.

I had noticed right away that Mickey and Shamu had made it up to the room and then you showed them "saying goodbye". So cute!

Glad to see the update! The pictures are beautiful. Can't wait for the Ireland trippie!

Subscribing. I'm only on page 6 but am thoroughly enjoying your trip report! Sounds like you and DF had an incredible time, thanks so much for sharing it with us!

Auhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I'm so sorry, guys!! I really do mean to come back and write the rest of my trip report, but every time I log on to DIS, I get distracted my someone's amazing food report, or someone else's fun trip report, and I never get around to doing mine!!!

AUhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

But I promise, promise, PROMISE, I will definitely come back in the next few days and finish the whole thing off! I only have Ireland left to write about, so stay tuned for the next (and last!) chapter! AUhhhh!!!

Thankyou Sue88 and missmun52 for being so patient and for kindly bumping me up!!

I'm actually on school holidays at the moment, which is fantastic, but I've also been really busy organising our wedding! Tomorrow we're going wedding cake shopping, and invitation shopping, and choosing our wedding bands! Eeek! It's all happening!!

But I WILL be back to finish off my report very soon!!! popcorn::

Thanks for sticking around and being so patient!!! :woohoo:

Let me reply to all these lovely people who commented on my trippie (so long ago!)!! :yay:

luvmyboys... Yayyy, you were first! Glad I could cheer you up after looking after your sick little munchkin!! :thumbsup2

ILMICKEY... I know, it was a bummer that I couldn't fit the boots in my overpacked suitcase!! Why not buy another suitcase, you ask?! Well... I guess we could have, but I'm a bit of a worrier. All our flight information stated that we could take with us one bag, not weighing more that 20kg, and one small carry on bag. So that's what we did! I guess we could have taken another suitcase with us, but we would have had to pay more, and I would have been worried the whole time that someone wouldn't let us take it with us! Especially with the luggage restrictions which were happening at that stage, too... But poo! I wanted those boots!!

missmun52... Glad you liked the Montreal instalment! I promise I'll have the next one up soon!!

SnoopyDancer... Hey, I'm glad you've joined my trip report! It's funny that you said I hooked you with the pop culture references, because I didn't mean to! That's just how my mind works! Heheee! I must be addicted to pop culture. Ooh and no, I've never heard about the tv show called Animal Crackers!!?! Sounds intriguing though!!

scottny... Oooh, yep, we do get Showtime, but with different programs, I think. I've heard about Duchovny's new tv show, but I don't think we'll get it here for a while, if at all. :sad1:

Sue88... Aww, you're always so nice, even after I keep you waiting so long! Thankyou! I know, I'm a bit concerned about my memory loss on the flight too! I seriously can't remember anything about that flight. I think by that stage on our trip, everything had become a bit of a blur!! Hehee! I promise the Ireland part of my report will be up soon! And thanks for the bumps!! :yay:

lucky978... Wow, you spent all day reading my trip report!! Hehee! I feel honoured, thankyou!! :)

Spartangirl... Ooh, I'm glad you've jumped on board my trip report!! Nice to hear you're enjoying it! And thanks for the congratulations!! :thumbsup2

Ricky's Girl... Ahh! I told DF you said he was pretty good eye candy, and he looooved it! He'll never forget that now! How exciting that you're heading to New York!! When are you going!? You'll have to tell me how you liked it!! popcorn::

MJ5MOUSE... Hey, glad you joined my trip report!! Sue is doing a good job trying to keep me going with it! Hehee! Thanks for all your nice compliments - I'm glad you're enjoying it!! St Augustine sounds intriguing... I might have to look into it for our next USA adventure - whenever that might be!!

WDW Fan... Thanks for hanging around!! Glad you're still enjoying my trip report! And you're right - our hotel room in Montreal was beautiful! I wish we were there right now!!

buffy0214... Heeey, I didn't even notice Mickey and Shamu in that photo of our hotel room! How funny! You must have great observation skills!! :woohoo:

HalloweenQueen... Thanks for the nice words!! Glad you're still enjoying the report!

MrsB1228... Yay, thanks for joining my trip report! Nice to know you're enjoying it!!

Yay, I'm finally up to date!! Thankyou so much everybody, for all your kind words and encouragement!! I will definitely be back soon with the new chapter! If it's not here by Monday, you can all throw rotten tomatoes at me, kay!?!! :yay:

PS. Guess what we found the other day!!? A USA food store!! It's this amazing shop about 30 minutes away from us that sells lots and lots of American food! So guess what we stacked up on... Yep! Hersheys!! Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter Cups, Kisses, Milk Duds... YUM!! No cheese popcorn though, unfortunately!! popcorn::
