I've stayed one time for 2 weeks, and while it was fun, the adjustment once back home was a nightmare. Also, because I was away from the business for so long, I felt a constant need to check in with my employees. That really took away from both my vacation, and my wife's. We prefer to check in on a Friday, then check out on the follwoing Friday and move to a new resort for a few days. Recently, that new resot has been the AKL, where we spend time at the lodge and shopping around Orlando, but stay away from the parks. It's a little 2 or 3 night vacation from our vacation, and I really relax during that time.
