Our travel party is myself my two grown children. Son 27 and his sister who is 31 and her daughter (my grandchild ) who is 8.
We are needing to use a twin size air mattress for the little one. Has anyone recently stayed in the Reno’d preferred rooms and used an air mattesss next to the window and door?? Did it fit ok?

We just recently stayed at Pop in a renovated room at the beginning of this month and had to use a twin size air mattress. It did fit by the door/window but it was a little tight. Each morning we propped it up against the wall to have enough space to get around. :-)

She’s 8 yrs old. I’m sure she won’t mind. She’s going to Disney! She’s a sleeper who uses the ENTIRE BED lol It’s only for 3 nights. We don’t mind propping it up during the day

This is what we did, too. :)

Yes! We did this with my 6'6" 21 year old bother. :rotfl2: He doesn't like to share beds, so he got the air mattress! He didn't mind it one bit.

If the 8 yr old is the first one in bed and the last one up, there is going to be a lot of walking on top of her. It should be the last to bed and the first up on the air bed.

People will only be walking on top of her if they need to leave the room. The bathroom is in the other direction. If everyone goes to breakfast together, that's not an issue. However, I agree with those who think it's a fire hazard.

Once we are in room no one will be leaving we are open and close park kinda people. And If she falls asleep first she can use one of the beds until the rest of us are ready to go to sleep

If there is a fire, you pass out in the room, and the air mattress prevents the door from being opened from the outside, that would not be a good thing.
The inflatable air mattress is not going to keep someone from the outside from opening the door.

I feel that the safety concern is a bit overblown.

Now if the kids bed was a traditional mattress or a metal cot, I can see there being the possibility of making the door more difficult to open......especially if it is somewhat wide
