We are very big Twilight Zone fans, rarely missing the Twilight Zone Marathons that take place a couple of times a year. I would like to get DS 24 a DVD set. Which ones/seasons? What's a "must have" for collectors?

Well, I can't tell you which ones to get but it's good to know that there are other die-hard Twilight Zone fans out there. My friends and family think I'm crazy for watching these shows during the marathon days. I can't help it...I'm addicted to the Twilight Zone!

For me, I would have to get the DVDs with two of my favorite episodes....the Christmas one with Art Carney and one titled "The Hunt" (I think) where a dog and his owner die and go to heaven. If I were you, I would view the listings of the various seasons and pick the ones with the shows you like the best.

Sounds like a reasonable plan. Have you ever read anything about Rod Serling? He had an amazing career and was a prolific writer.

I will now that full advantage of this thread and ask a "Twilight Zone trivia question"! I saw one show, when I was a kid, that had the devil caged up as part of the end of days prophecy. If I remember correctly, a child came along and the devil was trying to trick the child into turning him loose from the cage. Does this one sound familiar to anyone or does anyone know which show that was? TIA :teeth:

Yes, wasnt that ones title have something to do with howling? I love the TZ, I wish it was back in prime time TV. The writing is spectacular, Rod Serling IMHO was the best writer EVER, and I dont mean just TV, I mean TV/Movies/Books.

I priced the "seasons" on line. Amazon had them for $89 each. I found them all at Costco. I bought season #3 and #4. They are marked for $58. but if you buy seasons 1, 2, or 3, You get $25 off on #4. That was a "no brainer". I can't wait until I can enjoy DS 24s Christmas present. :flower:

Love Twilight Zone! My personal favorites are "To Serve Man", and "The
Monsters Are Due on Maple Street". Monsters is in my textbook, so I get to teach it each year and show the episode. It always results in more TZ fans.

Our Cracker Barrel sells TZ DVDs. I can't remember if they are 2 or 4 episodes to a DVD for $10.
