Staying at the Swan and thankfully I see lots of amazing restaurants in that area. We are big foodies (2 adults) Is there any place in the epcot resort area that is so yummy I should think about getting more than one reservation for? We will be there 12 nights.

There are some great restaurants in that resort area but none I would go to twice. I go to Amare quite frequently but again, not sure I'd want to eat there twice in a trip.

Not to us. We rotate around the TS and rarely hit anything more than twice a year anywhere.
Between festivals and Magical Dining you could go an entire year in Orlando and not have the meal twice.

I'm thinking in terms of my reservation window opening. Will I not have a challenge getting in somewhere if I wait? And if I book through Open Table, we'll it show up on my itinerary in the app?

Open Table will not show up on your app, no. Reservations and walk ups have gotten much easier in recent years so I wouldn't stress about it for most restaurants these days.

You’re not gonna have an issue. Hardest thing to get in EP Resort area is probably Beaches and Cream and I can’t imagine that will be your favorite as a foodie 🤣

I had one night early this month that hit a big convention when I tried to walk into Il Mulino. The bar was wall to wall people and you gotta walk through to get to the restaurant. A quick check on open table showed lots of availability that night so I made my way through the bar and was seated within 10 mins in the restaurant. I like to be organized with ADRs but as far as Swolphin, I don’t make ADRs. If one place is full there are plenty of others to try!

I'll reiterate what others have said, you definitely do not need to make 12 nights of reservations, especially at Swolphin. Opentable is a great resource, you can also call Swan/Dolphin. I've had good luck going to the hostess stand earlier in the day and just making a reservation for that night. I would make reservations for the restaurants you know you want to go to and then leave the rest of the nights open. Especially as a party of 2, you aren't going to have trouble getting day before and day-of reservations. In that area, we like all of the Swolphin restaurants, Topolinos at RIV (fun to take the Skyliner over) and Shiki-Sai in EP.

I wouldn't let your limitation be the Epcot resort area - if you're foodies, move around, try different areas - different resorts. Go to connected resorts at the end of park days, or use the DHS busses to get out to any other resort you want to try. I'd try to fit in Jiko at AK Lodge, Victoria & Alberts at GF if you're willing to spend big, Bull & Bear if you're willing to visit the Waldorf which is kind of on property but not technically, Tiffins in Animal Kingdom is solid. Other good restaurants: Topolino's, Citricos, Monseur Paul's, Flying Fish. Some decent steakhouse options with Shula's, Steakhouse 71, Yachtsman.
