TV show producers need to make new and exciting visions of the future rather than rehash more "Star Wars" and "Star Trek"

Who here agrees with that sentiment?

"Halo" and "Foundation" were generic. "Strange New Worlds" and "Ahsoka" are enjoyable but set in familiar worlds.

How about something new and exciting?

Something with action, adventure, and mystery but set in an world that is optimistic enough that it is considered a better world our own world.

I guess society is too cynical to be interested in that kind of fiction and that Hollywood seems to be more risk averse with the current economic situation.

I absolutely love everything about "Strange New Worlds". We are actually rewatching both seasons for a second time. Yes, it's familiar as are many of the characters, but I would argue that it is a completely original vision of the familiar.
