Tv show Invasion was seriously wierd tonight!

Yeah, I saw part of it. I saw the first few episodes, and now only catch bits and pieces. It is too weird, and I don't have the patience for the build-up to whatever these aliens are all about. Seems like it would have worked better as a mini-series than a full blown TV show.

I usually leave it on after Lost but I just can't get into it. What was the guy doing at the end with the chainsaw? I saw he was missing an arm when he was underwater. Was he missing an arm before that? Was that his miracle? I don't think I'll be a regular watcher of this show. It's a little too out there.

Apparently she stole the skeleton Dave recovered at the beginning of the show out of his trunk and reconstructed the face. After taking a total of about 5 whole minutes to turn it around, they saw it was Tom's face. So is he like, the Big Daddy Head Alien?

He convinced that guy to go cut off his newly regenerated arm with a chainsaw so no one would be suspicious.

Thanks! That makes sense. I had forgotten about the skeleton. I recorded it on DVR so sometimes I tune stuff out when watching them on live TV. I wonder how long they can work this story with such a big reveal eary on.

Tom (the Sheriff/Alien big daddy (funny title)) seems to be aware that he is an alien but it doesn't seem the others exactly know. Russell's ex, Tom's current wife, seemed to be on the way to figuring out something two episodes ago when she stumbled upon her own rotting body in the lake. Didn't anyone suspect that Tom was the first Alien after he explained being the sole survivor of a plane crash over the ocean several years ago? I had that one figured out and then last week when he said he wanted to have a baby to his wife - gotta get that Alien race going, lol. This show is definitely out there but I do like it. I haven't been able to get into Surface though and I wonder if the difference is the time slots? I can watch a 10pm show better than 8pm. I usually don't sit down to watch anything til at least 9 which is why I also keep missing Alias. Oh well, I'm rambling.
