Tux Rentals - Recomendation Carolyn Allens, MW or what?

Yes, the Winter Garden branch of MW Tux will send someone to your room. Also, the reason you may have picked CA last year was that MWTux used to be After Hours and some brides here had a bunch of trouble with them. But it's all sorted now. Really, I think you can't go wrong with either Carolyn Allen's or MWTux.

Also, you don't have to go to an MW Tux or a Jim's Formalwear dealer to get fitted. Any tuxedo-rental shop in the UK could do it (although the measurements need to be in inches ), or any tailor or seamstress.

We are going with MW because our wedding is in July and my df wants a kakhi suit.

I had the most awful experience with men's Wearhouse where I live. We bought J a suit in August for our December wedding. They effed up the alterations so many times that we did not have a completed finished suit 3 days before the wedding. AND their corportae has been rude and completely disinterested in our situation so we will NEVER shop at a MW or MW tux or anythign ever having to do with them.

My dad bought his suit from a boutique Italian place and because he spent so much money there, they took us in Tuesday after they closed (3 days before the wedding) and had it fixed perfectly the next day for us for no charge. We were so impressed we actually changed his shirt and bought a beautiful one form there too.

I know many people who have had great experiences at MW but I ma not one of them.

We went to MW in our area to ask about tux rentals for our disney wedding. The associate we spoke with said we would do everything here and that they would ship the tuxes to the Orlando location...??? Is this true?
Also, does MW come to the room and make sure all tuxes fit a few days prior like carolyn allens? Do they pick up the tux the next day?

Yes, MW Tux will work with your local branch, and yes they will pick up and drop off tuxes. Not sure if they will come to your room for a fitting, though, and I'm pretty sure your local MW tux doesn't actually ship the tuxes to the Orlando branch, they just tell the Orlando branch what sizes to have on hand.

For returns I simply left all the tuxes with bell services and they came at some point in the day to pickup. Very easy. The only thing was that they would only pickup at one hotel.

so we are going either with a Khaki or a Navy tux. I went into MW tux and they told me they only carry white & black tuxes.

Just for info, I emailed MW and they advised that they now do not do fittings as such, they will drop of the tuxes and swap a size if that is incorrect, but don't do individual fittings.

I presume CA's actually come and pin the suits etc to make the fit as best as possible? If so, this would give them the advantage......

We had MW Tux, because the guys were coming from all over the place, so it made it easy for them to go to their local MW. So, they were measured there, but the tuxes were delivered to the GF.

When DH tried his on, it looked like he was wearing his grandfather's tux (it hung on him). So, we called MW and they delivered a second jacket. It worked out well, because DH wore the second one, and his original one fit my Dad better! Plus, they let DH keep his tux for a few more days for the MK/EPCOT shoot.

I just called the MW Winter Garden location and they said they only offer tuxes/suits in black, white, ivory, and 1 grey suit.

That's why we decided to go with Carolyn Allen's, because they offer Navy & Khaki.
