Tutu ideas....to get four costumes out of one tutu

I want to wear a costume for the Dopey...well at least up until the half...this will depend on weather for the full though.
Costumes however take up a lot of room if you are flying and I do not want to pay x baggage frees to carry along three or four different costumes.

I was thinking of a tutu that could be utilized into three..four different costumes.
White tutu...side buns..Princess Leia?
White tutu...Minnie bridal hat...runaway bride Minnie?
White tutu....then add a few strands of blue tulle and go as Cinderella?
White tutu...?

Something like that.

Anyone else wearing a costume or has ideas on how to take one outfit and turn it into four?

Personally, I was envisioning more of a running skirt than a tutu just to save space--they're what I already run in and I'm just on the lookout for ones in good colors. Another option might be to make it reversible--one color on the bottom and then you flip it and it's another?

I think I would opt for a skirt as well. I did a tutu for the half and the smell was pretty bad after that run... a skirt you can wash in between.

Agree with Fruto about the smell. We had to ban my tutu from the living space after the race. My family refused to let me throw it out so it was taken home and washed by hand.

Now, if you decide to do a tutu I have heard great things about using a space bag to compress it.

I have a tutu that started as all green, but then have added new colors of tule cut into pieces and tied onto the elastic waist band. It now is a rainbow tutu.... You could do the same with your white one for one race, then add another color for another race and so on....

I will probably do that...just add more tule colors to change the design and I have no problem tossing it when its over. I doubtfully would wear it again, I will have its memory in a photo...and besides I can make another one for another race.

I'm using a white tutu for Donald Duck at the half and Mary Poppins at the Enchanted 10k!

I am trying to think of how to utilize one tutu into at least three different costumes. Then toss it.
