Hello! Wondering if anyone has experience with gluten free meals at either Tutto Italia or Via Napoli. Since there isn't an allergy menu posted online it is not easy to discern what's available. Searches of GF Disney sites seem to produce older menus. Both current menus look pretty similar in their offerings that could be made gluten free--caprese, caesar salad with chicken or shrimp, fettuccine alfredo with chicken or shrimp, (and maybe risotto at Tutto Italia).

Does either restaurant have gluten free pasta available? I know both menus have a fish and steak option, but I can't eat red meat and am looking forward to something other than fish (which I will probably end up eating at Citricos and Jaleo the previous two nights).

I know I can always head over to BW for Trattoria Al Forno if neither restaurant in Italy pavilion work out. Thanks for any info!

Yes, both Tutto Italia and Via Napoli have gluten free pasta. We typically avoid Via Napoli just because it is an open kitchen with a much higher risk of cross contamination from the pizza flour. Typically at Tutto Italia the gf pasta option is penne.

We tried Trattoria al Forno for the first time a few weeks ago and the headliner there is the gf chicken parm. That might be worth the walk considering that dish is not available gf anywhere else.

Thanks so much for the info! I'm happy to hear that they both have GF pasta. Will consider the walk for GF chick parm as an option for sure! Also might be dependent on what resy I can get tomorrow morning. Thanks for the insight :)

I feel like there was a wheat/flour cloud when we went to Via Napoli years ago, we’ve avoided it since. Tutto was too limited in dinner choices for us. Another vote for TaF, they have GF calamari and seem to know what they are doing with many choices. We do like the wine cave at Tutto.

For all the reasons you mention, I went with Trattoria al Forno!! Thanks for your insight, sounds like I made the right choice.

My sister has celiac's disease and when we were at Via Napoli they were only able to offer her one option, gluten-free rotini with marinara. It was a pathetic meal for her. She would have loved a gf pizza but they don't offer it. I don't recommend eating there if you have to be gluten free.

My son and his GF both have celiacs/gluten allergy, and both RAVE about Tutto. They prefer that over Trattoria, or Via Napoli. In my opinion, Tutto is kind of a hidden gem of all the Italian resteraunts, and our favorite
