Want to try one of the Italian restaurants at Epcot . . which would you recommend?

Depends on what type of atmosphere you want. Via Napoli is loud and known for pizza. Tutto Italia is a "nicer" sit down restaurant. If you are using the dining plan, you will probably get more of your money's worth out of Tutto. For Via Napoli, you can only get individual pizzas and not the larger pizzas. I've never personally used the dining plan at Via Napoli, but I've read many reviews saying it's not really worth using a credit there.

We dined at tutto italia last week and loved it. Food and service were both great. My mother actually found herself a reservation later in the week and went back by herself. Never ate at Napoli but it is basically a pizza place. If you want pizza go to Napoli, other Italian dishes go to tutto.

Tutto Italia is yum. Great pasta, nice quiet atmosphere. Via Napoli has good pizza, but it's loud and I haven't had their pasta. Tutto is great, go there!

We do have the dining plan. We want more sit down relaxing, well as relaxing as you can get with a 4 year old. Definitely looking to get the most with our dining plan. Both places got really good reviews so we were on the fence.

It really does depend on what you're looking for. Tutto Italia has a nicer, relaxing atmosphere and is known for their pastas. Via Napoli is best known for its pizza (the best I've ever had) and has a more fun environment. Either way you can't go wrong, but if I had to choose, it's Via Napoli.

Since you're on the dining plan and you want a more relaxing environment, Tutto Italia is a no-brainer to me. Via Napoli is very good, too, but definitely loud and I think a better deal paying OOP.

Thanks! Definetly trying for Tutto. We have lunch reservations at Asherkus so hoping that something will open up around 6-7 for Tutto, really hoping for the candelight processional package but those haven't opened up yet . i dont think.

Between the two, I prefer Via Napoli over tutto for both pasta AND pizza. Yes Via is louder, but the atmosphere is very pretty. And the food! Its sooo good! LOVE the pizza...quattro fromaggi and pepperoni are my faves. For pasta, the candele is to die for. And the desserts, the tiramisu and zeppollee are incredible!
As for value on the DP, its the same. At via you get one of the individual size pizza's, or you can choose the other entree's on the menu. i've tried the other entrees/pastas at via and its amazing. Cant go wrong with either but I do prefer via. :goodvibes
However if paying out of pocket, its true that Via would be cheaper because you can all share a pizza for example.

My wife and I have been to both and as many have said here.....2 very different atmospheres. Via Napoli is more about the pizza....(although you can get other things besides pizza).....You can get both individual and larger pies. My wife and I got a regular pizza and it was just too big for two. As for Tutto Italia its a more romantic style of Italian restaurant. The food is more varied and more on the style of "fine" dining. Both were quite good too........the big difference is pricing. Tutto is more expensive than Via Napoli..........so if you have the meal plan you'll probably get more bang for you buck from Tutto.

My wife and I have a reservation at Via Napoli in a few days I must say I'm really looking forward to it! :)

Neither of the two in the title to this thread. For the best Italian at WDW, go slightly outside of Epcot to Il Mulino at the Swan. Much better than the two inside Epcot. However, if you must restrict yourself to Epcot, I'd typically go with VN.
