while Tutto Italia was one of our must do's, we now have a new must do and it is Via Napoli. Our last trip we visited both and loved both, on our upcomming trip, we all voted via napoli and we too are paying OOP which is why we choose this one. Since we all like the pizza here, we will get a large pizza, drinks and dessert and get out of there a lot cheaper that Tutto, which is an added bonus.

I think either way you will be happy.

I had the fortune of trying out Via Napoli for lunch last August as a walk up during their "soft opening;" I enjoyed the food. However, I couldn't choose between Tutto or Via as to which is better, they are both good. I guess it would come down to whether I want casual as in Via Napoli or more formal and much quieter as in Tutto Italia. However, one thing I will say is if I was not on the DDP there is no way I'm paying oop for either place. :goodvibes

This is a hard one for my family. Tutto was always a must when we visited. The lasagna is to die for (This coming from a italian-american whose sundays growing up consisted of going to grandmas house for macaroni and meatballs.) Anyway, we had the opportunity to visit VN on our last trip. I have to say, IMO, VN has a slight edge over Tutto. We loved everything we ordered. Also, Tutto is more formal and VN is very casual. I guess I will still be going back to both; just whatever we are in the mood for at the time when we visit.

We really enjoyed our first trip to VN in March and are returning in Sept. I have not been to Tutto - I refuse to go b/c I miss Alfredo's! :sad1:

I miss Alfredo's too! We were at Tutto in June and as others have said we felt really rushed-people always standing by the table. We all had the same meal and all said the same thing-rather bland and tasteless not very Italian at all-it was the tomato penne dish. Sounded great on the menu but didn't come off that way.
On the other hand they do have a great wine list....

We've been to Via Napoli a few times now and love it. Wonderful flavorful food, felt welcome-a real difference between the two places
