San Angel hands down for me.

I was not impressed with Tutto the one time I went (for lunch on a very slow day when the restaurant was half empty). It was just lackluster. Service was slow (very slow), food was ok to not good, atmosphere was lacking, just everything worked to make it a 'well, we did it once but not again' experience.

We went to San Angel Inn in 2015 and had a great time. The service was efficient (but nothing special). The food, however, was very good...it's pretty authentic Mexican (vs Tex Mex), which I like, and the drinks were outstanding. The atmosphere (and cool a/c when it was so hot outside) was really wonderful and worth it, IMO.

But, honestly, enough people like *both* restaurants (they seem to get even reviews) that if I were you, I'd just look at the menu and decide which you think you and your party would enjoy more. If you're not a Mexican food loving family, you'll likely not enjoy San Angel Inn no matter how great the atmosphere is. Likewise, if you're not that into Italian, you might be disappointed in Tutto. And if you get really wonderful, authentic Mexican or Italian where you live, you'll likely not get that same experience at WDW. So keep that in mind, and go with what you like.

We did both the last trip and are only going back to San Angel Inn for our upcoming trip. Tutto Italia food was excellent, but we really like the uniqueness of the atmosphere at San Angel Inn. Plus I try to get my kids to eat different foods other than chicken fingers at Disney World and my kids like Mexican! We thought the food was good at San Angel Inn.

Our Tutto meal was horrible last year. My lasagna was gross. We love SAN Angel Inn. We've eaten there at least 10 times, and we haven't ever dealt with poor service. Although, we do like to sit and enjoy our meal and atmosphere, and we typically don't place our meal order until our app is finished. Speaking of, we just had the cheesy dip all the other night and thought it was amazing.

If you want better Italian, try Il Forno outside of The Boardwalk.

For those who said they liked San Angel Inn what entrees and appetizers did you like?

I Had the carne asada, It was delicious, I also enjoyed the quesadilla rebozados.

The food, service and atmosphere were all lovely. It is a little tight though, be prepared to be close to your neighbor.

I have not dined at Tutto so I cannot compare the two.

Just throwing in a wrench that you can ignore...

We haven't eaten at Tutto, so I can't compare the two either.

We used to go to San Angel Inn each trip and definitely enjoyed it. (Don't get a table too close to the kitchen though, if you can help it)

However, the last couple trips we've moved across to the lagoon side at La Hacienda de San Angel and have really enjoyed that and prefer it to San Angel Inn. If you look at their menu, they have a couple entrees in the Prix Fixe section - Parillada La Hacienda and Parillada Del Mar. They serve two and is delicious. They are similiar but La Hacienda is steak/chicken based and Del Mar is seafood based. We usually get Del Mar. I've heard good things about the rest of the menu also...

Any way you go should be a good choice, so enjoy!

We tried Tutto Italia last time. Honestly I was not impressed. It was good, but it wasn't blow your socks off good, especially at that price. Never be to SAI.

Actually we like both mexican and italian food. So next I guess we check out the menus and see if we cant make a decision.

Thank you, that may be another option for us :thumbsup2

The ONLY reason to go to San Angel is the atmosphere. If the food being better than barely passable is important to you, skip it.

I have only dined at Tutto once and no one in our party ever cares to go back. The food was mediocre at best. There were three of us and we each had a different appetizer, entree and dessert and not one of us was impressed at all. The atmosphere was nothing special and I could only describe the service as adequate. I've been to San Angel at least 3 times and I've always enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend if over Tutto.

I've swithered about San Angel for YEARS and we finally went in October just past. I was really disappointed and I really wanted to enjoy it. We were so close to the next table we may as well have been with them, and needed to use the torch on the iphone to see the menu! The service was pretty lacklustre and the food was really pretty awful. The margaritas were ok though :drinking1

We love the food at Tutto. The atmosphere at SA is amazing but the reviews of the food have always kept us away. Hang around in the shopping area for atmosphere then eat at Tutto.

The setting at San Angel is an "A", the food and service are a "C."

Epcot can do better than what is presently there. It may be time for a complete overhaul to the menu and concept.

Enjoy your trip!
