OK..sorry I have a stupid question. I went to look at the menu, which I did look at before making the ressie and it doesn't seem too appealing to me. It doesn't look like there is much for American cuisine..am I looking at something wrong?
I could of sworn that when I made the ressies the menu had more stuff??

Enjoyed our breakfast here last week. Good service, the characters are great (Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy), carries the safari theme well and the food was pretty good for a buffet and a pretty wide variety.

If the park is open (i.e. 8:00-8:15 breakfast res on Extra Magic Hours day like ours was) have someone in your party take your tickets and get FastPasses for Kilimanjaro Safaris before you go in, and the timing should be right for you to walk right into the FastPass lane when you're done.

I believe this is a character meal only at breakfast.

Is the lunch buffett a character meal or just breakfast?

Breakfast is the only character meal. However, you can get priority seating for the Finding Nemo show if you book at the appropriate time (1pm-1:40pm lunch reservation for the 3:15 show, for instance), which is a great perk.

Not a stupid question at all. I think that they try to work in African flavors and spices without getting too exotic in most cases. The carving station has pretty standard beef and pork tenderloin; the sauces are a little more exotic, but they are optional. There are cold cuts and bread for sandwiches, pretty standard salads and breads, and mashed potatoes, all, I think, solidly in the American meat-and-potatoes genre. There are a number of desserts, as well.

We had dinner there for the first time this time at it was our best dinner. Lots to choose from. We are going eat there next year. My oldest is picky and was able to find lots to eat. There was a lot of "normal" food.
