Has anyone done Tusker house since the opening time has changed to 9am? Were you able to get into Pandora or did you have to go back to the front?

Your question doesn't make sense to me. What time does AK open? Is there an early EMH? Are you eating at Tusker at 9 am, but hoping to get somewhere before that? Need more information, or at least some clarification, please.

Sorry to not clarify: I was thinking you could have a tusker house breakfast reservation at 8, and assuming you don't want to stay for the characters and since it's buffet, finish at 8:30 and walk to pandora via the park by 8:40 for a 9 am park open. Hope that makes more sense. Looking like someone is going to try it so I await their report.

Stuck waiting on a bus now, so we may not be near the front of the line. We plan to eat quickly but will not be skipping characters. Usually it goes a little faster with fur characters, though.

Walked out of Tusker House by the FotLK. There was a rope line by the bathrooms. A CM said to wait there, but then people started walking through from the other side so we went around the barrier and the CM shrugged like "whatever." There was another CM with a FoP end of the line sign so we jumped in. Line is already an hour at our point and it's at least triple behind us.

Conclusion: Avoid TH if you want to do Pandora first. CMs don't have a clear plan for the breakfast people, and you're fighting the RD crowds heading to Pandora and Safari (blocked pathways). TH is still great for safari or jump on everything else in the park.

Thanks for posting your experience! I'd suspect they'll refine the PPO ADR opening as time goes on, though. Not uncommon for it to be a bit of a mess at first.

Friday, Sept 1st.
I did not cancel the ressie yet. I realized after 4 months planning, that Disney loves to "surprise" ppl with new updates. Like changing the parade time after I had our schedule all planned out, lol.
Keeping all the ressies we got until like a week before we leave I think.
