Tusker House char break reserv - 5-min reserv diff for 2 fams - sit together?

I made a reservation for my family - 3 total - for the character breakfast at Tusker House at 10:10 a.m. My sister and her family - 4 total - made their character breakfast reservation at TH the same day for five minutes earlier at 10:05 a.m. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the 10:05 time. However, I'm hoping that even though we made separate reservations we will still be able to be seated together? Thoughts? When I asked the Disney restaurant reservation person on the phone about it they said to arrive earlier in order to let the restaurant know our situation, but that they weren't sure if we'd be able to sit together.

(We made separate reservations in the first place because I wasn't sure if my family was making it to the breakfast).

CMs will do their best to seat you together, but it's not guaranteed. Your reservations are for 2 tables that each seat 4 and you will now need a much larger sized table so it will depend on whether there is an 8 top available.

You can go a little early and explain your situation. They may accomodate you or you may have to wait a little longer or you may be seated at adjacent tables. One thing in your favor is you're going for a late breakfast so it might not be as busy at that time.

we traveled w/two other families last august (during free dining) and made allour ADRs independent of one another because we were not sure if our families would want to eat together or get some distance from one another... none of our ADRs were for the exact same time and we had no problem sitting five or ten of us at any of the restaurants we asked... we were ten at tusker house b'fast w/two separate ressies... we were at two tables next to one another at whispering canyon... we wereall together at 'ohana... we were separate at garden grill (but that was by choice 'cause we all wanted booths)...

hopefully your experience will be as favorable as ours, but bear in mind there's no guarantee!
