TURNED 30 AT THE WORLD!!Our 10 night/11 day trip w/ lots of Pics!*COMPLETE 8/11**

Day 10 Part 2

After a very very very short rest in the room we hopped back in our minivan and made our 5 minute drive over to MGM... we had a parade to see baby!! We got in... found a great curbside spot... .and then it happened.... The skies opened and as it does many times in Orlando... It rained and rained and rained... and Rained us out of our parade!! Dog gone it!!! So in all the Rain I hung out with the kids while DH went to grab FP... we had to do RnR and ToT 1 more time for goodness sakes!!!

While we waited I took some shots of the kids hoping it'd stop so we could see the parade....

After they finally made the announcement that we weren't going to get to see the parade we made our way down Sunset to do our favorite rides....

Typical pattern.... DH and Forest 1st on RnR then Forest and I.... DH and Forest on ToT ... then Forest and I....

Wow what a blast!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE those 2 rides!!!!

We really wanted to see what the Narnia thing was about so we made our way there and were able to get right in to the current showing.... It's cool... but fast... a walkthru with stuff from the set......

After that we decided we were starving so we made our way out of there and over to the Beach Club to go to Beaches & Cream. Boy oh boy is it a maze to get to it... We went in the Beach Club... thru where Cape May Cafe is... .outside.... down a hall... around a corner... thru the woods (j/k on the last one) and finally saw Beaches & Cream....

Since you can't make an ADR for them we had to walk up and see if they had space.. which they didn't... but the CM told us that it'd be only about a 20 minute wait so we did just that.... waited..... because there's no way I'm not tryin that Jose man!

Once seated Forest and I shared our Burger (bacon cheese if I remember right) while DH shared some of his with Mini and Ry had a bottle ....

We weren't here for the foods though.... we were here for after the foods... and then they brought it to us!! Here it is....

Deciding not to go with my plans DH got he and Mini something else....

While we enjoyed our icecreamy goodness someone had ordered a kitchen sink.... Man are those Crazy!!!

After dinner.... we did what any full family does... went back to the hotel to rest... and swim.... after 30 minutes went by of course

Then it was time for bed... early morning tomorrow... we have a date with a bear that has a rumbly tumbly!!!

I just read your whole TR; you are doing an amazing job remembering everything! Your young man is so handsome, and the two "wee ones" are just adorable. Ry and his grin, and Mini and her beautiful smile. What a delight it has been to read about your lovely family. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Not a Doodle fan myself, but love Mini's reaction to DeeDee!

And, I just added "No Way Jose" to my list of things to try in September. I was at the BC in January and never made it down to B & C, if you can believe it.

Looking forward to the rest, and to reading about your September trip when we both come home. Are you going to MNSSHP? I'll be there on the 21st.

No we aren't doing MNSSHP as of now... I am going back and forth but I am not sure how best to fit it into the plans....

Day 11 Part 1

So I wake... sad.... because today's the day.... it's time to say goodbye to our special place... but not before we shall dine with a bear and his boucy pal....

I do the usual... except pack first... because I woke early... and knew it must be done... and nobody else was up... so it shall be me! I get everything as bagged as I can... the dirty stuff anyways... who knows what they will wear today...

I woke mini... we did our thing... then got Forest up... per usual.... woke DH... who was none too happy to be up this early.. .on our last day... the day he knew he'd be up driving all night...

BUT HONEY!! We are having breakfast with your pal Tigger....

Yeah, Yeah... He gets up.... starts getting ready... And I called the front desk... to get a late checkout... so we could have more time at the park before coming back to pack the van... the saddest part of the day.... they said we could have till 2pm... wickid!

Ry is easy as always to get dressed so I get him all set and put him in the stroller... so I can continue packing.... so I don't have to do it later

Once all are ready we do the usual...

Pack into the van and drive to Magic Kingdom... take the tram to the TTC and then the boat to Magic Kingdom...

We arrive a few minutes early for our reservation and only had about a 10 minute wait.... outside of course... and we were taken in...

The Hostess showed us where the buffet was and took us back to our table.... on the main street side... against the windows... great spot... on the aisle!! works for us!

We had great luck with the characters... no real waits for anyone and they were all super fun!!

First up was Pooh (see even mini is sad... not sure why... she didn't really get that we were leaving)

Then we got to see Piglet, who was followed by our pal Eeyore... we always have a great time with Eeyore... don't know why.. but he really seems to do awesome with Mini... even when she was a baby on our first trip when she was 6 months at Disneyland...

Then we got our favorite guy!!! T-I-double guh-err

And a shot of Ry.... just cuz... in his little baby seat(which for those of you bringing babies... they only had at Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace)

After breakfast DH decided he wanted to get a nap in before we had to check out... so He took Ry with him so it'd be easier for me only having Mini... Bye Honey... see you in a while!!

And we were off!!About 40 steps away... lol.... we wanted to see the first Cinderellabration... because it is/was my favorite stage show... I just love it.... I took over 100 shots of it while we watched... and I cried... because I knew it'd be gone when we came back...

Then we knew we had a bit to wait to see Storytime with Belle so we explored the path near Cosmic rays that leads to the castle and found Cinderella's Fountain..... It's gorgeous.... and has cool stuff around it... this is my favorite view of it...

So what next.... well... Small World.... why... Because Forest said he didn't want to ride it... lol

And then???? Phillharmagic.... just because... it's cool... and we can't get enough of it!

So then what did we do??? Well... we do what every good girl and her brother and mommy do.... we went and saw a princess in her Grotto!!!

And then it was finally time for Belle.... yes... it was that long till the first Storytime... well not really... but it seemed like it!

While we listened/watched I got my favorite shot ever of Forest and Mini.... one of those... cooler than ever pictures....

OK... time to go.... checkout is at 2pm.... gotta get the van packed.... the daddy awoken.... the Ry changed... and make sure we didn't miss anything....

Day 11 Part 2

So we returned to the room... to my sleeping baby and DH.... quietly we got as much packed up as we could... as not to wake them until absolutely necessary....

I got quite a few of the things we'd brought out to the van, then DH woke up and helped me finish loading...

We woke Ry, dressed him in his final Disney outfit, then we did a sweep of the room for anything we missed.... DH took the kids to the Van with the last load of stuff then I did one more sweep... just in case.... Yup... got it all.... even checked under the beds...


We said goodbye to Pop and made our way over to Magic Kingdom.

We arrive at the TTC and take a boat over to Magic Kingdom... as we are going over ... It happens!!! DH can't find his KTTW!!! Aww man!!!

So he decides to go on back and try to find it.... We let him go and as soon as he leaves I remember... he may be able to get one at the TTC or something.... but by the time we get there he's pulling away in a Tram!! And can't hear me... and his cell is dead!!! Dang!! So we go back... I don't want to ruin the kids last moments and I'd told him we'd be going to the Magic Kingdom Barber Shop to get Mini's first haircut!

We enter... and have to wait about 30 minutes while 3 other people get their cuts... then it's her turn.... She handles it like a champ...

He was really great with her and she didn't cry... not one bit...

Forest watched for DH while we were in there... and nothing???

We went back to where the boat docks and decided to take it over to the TTC and wait for him there...

He showed up shortly after and said he got a new one at the front desk at Pop.... Thank Goodness!!

We then took the boat back over.... starting to feel seasick?

After we entered we decided it's time for dinner... Cosmic Ray's here we come!! We still had like 8 credits so each of us got our own meals... ate them till we were full.... and took off...

We rode Haunted Mansion one last time... quite quick getting in too... was wonderfully quiet that day...

I showed forest Tom Sawyers Island... no time to go... last boat had just left

Then we decided on our last ride.... our favorite! Pirates of the Carribean

Here DH, Forest and Mini are being silly at one of the spots in the queue... see how dead it is... was only us in that spot

Afterwards I told DH we still should use our credits or they'd go to waste... so we decided to go back to Cosmic Ray's and get dinners for all that is left and we'd just eat it on the road!! YIPEE!!! So we got 5 dinners lol... lots of food let me tell ya! And since they only do trays there it's a good thing we had a souvie bag we could use with us! It was packed full!

On the way to Ray's I requested we stop so I could take a picture of my favorite thing in all of WDW!!

I think that is the most beautiful fountain!!

Time to go!! NOOOO!!!!

We took the boat back... I cried... alot actually!!

I took this picture while I rode ... because it'd be my last sight of the castle

After the boat docked I cried some more on the dock and walked backwards so I could see it until the very last moment

Then we got on the tram.... packed in the car... and it was over!

So throught the trip we had our good and bad times.... thankfully mostly good... the bad were just when we got too hot or too tired... other than that it was a fabulous trip !! We have come to find this place... Disneyworld makes us feel so free, to be kids when we want to be, no other place in the world really does that. My DH thinks I am crazy because of my obsession with this magical place, but he doesn't really fight that hard to not go again... as seen by this coming trip being our 3rd year in a row

I am glad that there was that wonderful man Walt Disney and his Imagineers that made the "world" such a fabulous place and a place to take you away from it all and into a world of fantasy that is also reality... not in your dreams, but a place that you can bring your dreams to life.

Thank you all for sharing this trip with me and I hope to see you rejoin me on my travels to the world this summer.... I am excited to be able to meet alot of you on a planned meet at Pop on the 2nd night of our trip!! HEY GLOWIES!!! See ya there!! Till next time!! It's been wonderful!
