Has anyone ever eaten dinner at the Turf Club Bar & Grill @ Saratoga Springs? It sounds good and only requires one dining credit. It was rated high in reviews, but I just wanted to hear from someone on here. Thanks in advance!:)

We have not had dinner there before but will being having dinner at the Turf Club the night before I run in the 1/2 marathon, Jan 9th. The menu looks good and has some lighter options for me, so I am not eating a super heavy meal before the race. I can certainly let you know how it was when we get back.

I think it's pretty good. Personally, I would not travel to the resort to eat here but when we stay at SSR, we think it's a nice place to go.

The nine of us thought it was "ok". Would never go out of my way to eat there--only if I was staying at SSR.

We stayed at SSR last week and ate lunch at the Turf Club twice. We really liked it. The lava cake was wonderful!!

I would be with those that rate it as OK. We normally stay at SSR, so being that it is convenient... we normally do it once. The shrimp pasta dish is the best that we have had and is recommended. The atmosphere was very nice and our service was very good.

We went in 2007 and REALLY enjoyed it. The food was good and the customer service was great. They also had the kids do a horse race and gave them little plastic horses afterwards. They still love those horses.

We stayed at SSR so it wasn't out of our way though. If you are in the area you should try it! But I am not sure I would travel so far out of the way.

Their steaks are very yummy. (They offe3r two different types of toppings.)

We are staying at SSR and had dinner at TC on Monday night Our service was good, the Chef came out to discuss my allergy and we really enjoyed the steak. DS (11) had the ribs and really enjoyed them and he is extremely picky and really does not care for much on any menu, but we talked him into trying the ribs.

The food is really taking a beating at WDW with all the cuts, so this is a restaurant that I would travel to because it has managed to maintain some semblance of quality.

In October I stayed at BCV and while visiting DTD, I took the boat over to have an appetizer at TC and later that evening, after shopping, returned to their quick service for the dinner special.

:thumbsup2
We have enjoyed several lunches and dinners there..... it's relatively quiet, good service, and the food has always been well prepared and tasty. Give it a try!
