Turf Club at SSR

I called and tried to get a ADR at the Turf Club for a part of seven (one of which is a 2yo in a highchair). I was told they cannot book a reservation for one table over 6. They said we could do 2 tables and could possibly be close together. This is for a Wednesday night in Feb. Is this place normally pretty crowded meaning getting tables close together would be a problem or once there could they actually seat us at a table for 6 and put the highchair on the end?

It will most likely be fine. I've had ADR's all over Disney for a party of 6 and was told it would be 2 tables (4 +2), and we've never been split up. Doesn't mean it can't/won't happen, but it's pretty unlikely.

BTW, I love the Turf Club! We've had great meals & service there every time we've gone

My family has had dinner at at the Turf Club and we had 5 adults and 2 kids w/ an infant. Had no problems being seated together. It was against the wall w/ one side a booth and the other side chairs. Then they slid 2 tables together. You shouldn't have any problem
