I'm hoping that maybe there's a rep or two here. How does Tupperware replace a damaged product under warranty if they no longer make/carry the product?

A friend of mine was having a party and she knew that I had an old colander that was cracked. She offered to take it and give it to the rep when she had her party. It's been a few months and I really hadn't thought about it much. I asked her the other day about it. She said that the rep took the bowl and would give me a $3.00 credit towards something else. She also said that she was not happy with the rep. She said that he was not very pleasant at all, doesn't return phone calls so she's not sure if he made that amount up himself or what.

I've since bought a new colander so it's really not a big deal but I was wondering if other reps thought that this sounded right. I've only tried to get one other item replaced under warranty but couldn't. I was told that they don't warranty the printed marking on their measuring cups so I just threw it out.

Also, do customers still paying shipping/handling fees with an order?

Try calling 407-825-5050 for assistance. There is a company here (largest corporation headquartered in Osceola County) called Tupperware Brands and the signs outside the campus say International Headquarters. Why worry about a representative when it is so easy to go to the top.

(And if you ever want to visit their Container Museum, which is very interesting, they are only about one mile South of Gatorland.)

If you contact corporate, they will give you the info to ship/mail your damages items to them. They will replace it with a "like" item and ship it back to you at their exspense.

The $3 was a rip-off! I had a consultant once that would shop a yards sales and second hand shops to buy used/old product and then send it in for a replacement item. She was a little bit shady.

I have been very happy with their return policies. I did take a picture of everything I sent "just in case"!
