Went out for my power walk at 8:30. I wanted to skip it because I was feeling a bit down about the scale not moving, but then I decided I really should go.

So it's over and I feel great for having done it. I think in order to see the numbers change I will have to walk twice a day for three days a week, at least. Tonight I will walk with my sister and maybe tomorrow I'll get on the scale again. :) I want my 5 pound clippie!!!!!!!!:bounce:
 
YOu inspired me TigH!!!! I will go for my walk today. I have a free period at work and will do laps around the gym....wish me luck :)

OK TigH , you have me inspired. I am going to dig out the tape and do it after lunch. We should be done homeschooling by then. Thanks for the nudge.
 
That reminds me, I need to order that Walking tape by Leslie Sansone.

Okay, I'm going downstairs and getting on that elliptical trainer right now!
 

I did the 1 mile "Walk Away the Pounds" video this morning and started the "Buns of Steel" one but had to quit because mom duties kicked in!

Way to go everyone!!! Keep up the great work!!!
 
I haven't worked out yet, but I have a food success. AND then I plan on checking in later tonight to add an exercise success.

I actually was dreaming of potato chips last night!:rolleyes: So, all day long I have been craving them. I decided I would work them into my lunch. But how, all I wanted to buy was a 1 serving bag, and few stores have that anymore. Well, I found a store by me that has that. So instead of buying more than I want/need I got that 1 serving bag! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I know if I have them in my home, they will be eaten, so this way I got them, and I won't have more tempting me!:teeth:
 
I'm glad to see everyone's successes. :teeth: I haven't been doing so great but I do have something that I am considering...I just started volunteering at our local hospital. One of the "benefits" is I get a 50% discount membership to the health and fitness club affiliated with the hospital. The best shape I was ever in was when I belonged to a club. At $29 per month and no enrollment fee, I'd be pretty stupid not to do it. lol
 
Miss Jasmine-what a great incentive, plus with you being right there, what a perfect situation. Go for it and good luck. Can't wait to hear the results.
 
The kids I babysit went home early, so I did 30 minutes on the treadmill after they left.
Feels good to get it done early, too, as I usually do it around 7ish. :teeth:

I also tried the Torso Track 2 that my SIL loaned to me. :)
 
Just started walking. While not quite a power walk yet a start but I can see how somedays are tougher than others.
 
I did my two mile walking workout with Leslie Sansone. I got it done early and even with the kids coming home half way through making it interesting I still got it done. I feel great! Sore...but great!!!

I wish there was a way to visit all of you today for some hand shaking and back slapping (patting!) :)

I think food successes are just as important at exercise successes! It's all part of the package.

Just finished the evening power walk with my sister. We threw in some jogging again. :) It is really nice. I am so proud of her for deciding that she wants to try running, although she nearly punched me to get me to stop saying encouraging things to her while we were running!:p

I haven't been this enthusiastic about my weight loss program for quite some time now. Thank you all so much for being such a great group of people. Reading all your posts every day makes me feel very hopeful!

Congratulations again to everyone. Great job!
 
I had to report after reading all the posts today, I dug out the Miracle Mile (Leslie Sansone) tape and dusted it off. I just got finished and this is my reward, to cool down at the computer. Thanks for all the incentive. I am hurting and sweating right now, but I know that I will thankful in the morning. Have a great evening everyone.
 
I finished the 1-mile "Walk Away the Pounds" a little while ago, took a nice hot shower and now am DISing. I can't say how much inspiration I have been getting from the W.I.S.H. posters. Thanks for the inspiration, I am feeling good about myself. Have been very good with watching what I eat and about excercising everyday.

I did my 2+ mile walk after dinner. I think I am starting to get out of that exercise funk. Thanks you all. :D
 
Walked 7 flights of stairs. Went to the gym and walked the treadmill 25 minutes, did some weights and abs also.
