Scanning through lots of threads It seems like Tuesdays are a really happening night at HH. Unfortunately we'll not be there on Tuesday. But we will be there W, Th, Fri......

Does the resort have any planned aactivities on those nights?

We'll be there Sept. 7-9, if I have my dates right. And we have twin 4 year olds. I saw something about a "movie night", tho I don't know what night that is....

EDIT, so as not to open another thread here, where is the absolute best place to get a nice bowl of Oyster Stew?

The activities on any given evening do change throughout the year, so you may be pleasantly surprised when you arrive and get the schedule.

The summer Tuesday events are not available year-round (I'm not sure if the fireworks will still be held when you are there in Sep.). Thru the summer, there is a resort campfire Wednesday evenings, so you may have that fun activity available.

The resort will fax you an activity schedule if you call ahead. For a Wednesday arrival, they should have the schedule available on the prior Sat or Sun.

There are several places with oyster stew. You might try the Old Oyster Factory (you can see it across the marsh from the resort), Hudson's and Scott's Fishmarket (right across the resort bridge).
