Tues/Wed early am booking?

I have been reading about people finding lower fares for flights if they get on at say, 2 or 3 am to book/check travel. Has anyone ever done this and have had it be so? I'm doing some last minute travel to WDW and would love to get the lowest fares as possible (as would you all I know!<G>) Thanks for any input/info.
