Tuck In Service

Disney is experimenting with a new perk at the deluxe resorts called "Tuck In Service" whereby you touch 7 on your telephone and simply input the time you would like to be tucked in and whether you prefer a male or female 'tucker'. The CM will then enter your room, fluff your pillow, set a glass of water on the night stand and then adjust your blankets around you to keep you nice and cozy!

I don't know about you guys but this sounds great to me!!!

Seriously though, I recall reading about an offsite hotel that had their mascot come and tuck kids into bed. I think it was a raccoon. Anyone else remember this? I recall a lot of jokes being made on one message board. This particular hotel was a sponser. They were peeved that people were making fun of their mascot and embarassing the hotel.

I have a friend who has a Party Pals type business and has tons of character costumes... due to trademarking, she has not Barney, but the Purple Dragon, and not Pooh, but the Yellow Bear! She also does several of the princesses ... same costume but without the "official" Disney name. She offers a tuck-in service where she goes to kid's houses on their birthday night or whenever, and spends a half hour tucking in the kid. If she's in the "bear" costume, she obviously can't read a story, but she cuddles while mom or dad reads, and if she's a princess, she does the reading herself. She makes $75 per tuck-in! Not a bad deal. I thought she told me she got the idea from Disney!
