How much is it to rent a tube at the YC/BC? Can you rent by the week? Oh and 1 more, can you bring your own? Silly aren't I?

I think it was a few bucks for an hour and something like $10 for the day. We took them for an hour and just floated around the lazy river. Actually fell asleep a couple of times. I just wish they would bring me a drink :) .

I don't know if you can bring your own, but you can buy one from the store and they will fill it up for you.

$10 for the day, and i think its $3 hour. they are clear tubes, and when we inquired about bring our own, the cm said we can bring noodles, clear tube, and arm floaties only, and i said i think i would look very silly wearing all that in the lazy river, lol.

all kidding aside noodles, clear tubes and arm floaties only.

i would be very care with small children the lazy river in some parts are as deep as 10 feet, i remember ds said 12 feet but i think it was 10 feet.:Pinkbounc

Beware of the clear tubes.....they are not flattering on the fanny! ;)

Your post brought back a very funny recent memory for me. We actually had large tubes at home, so we spent quite a while deflating them to bring them (to save money). When we arrived at the BCV, we had them inflated for us, then we NEVER used them in 8 days, had to deflate them again to pack up. Then we got home and had to inflate them again for our pool. LOL!!!! My husband said "it's a good thing we brought those tubes with us!"

Are noodles allowed in all the pools (BWV and BCV, etc...) ? I don't recall seeing any noodles in the VWL or BWV pools last time we were there... and my kids love noodles.

(and if noodles ARE allowed... do they also come with sauce and meatballs?) :)

when we were there at the bcv , bwv and wlv in aug. we did see & used noodles at the bcv & bwv. we only stayed one day at the wlv and we didnt use the pool that day.

and i think you have to have the sauce & meatballs for lunch before you go into the pool ,but you can enjoy the noodles in the pool(but dont forget to wait 30 mins after eating to go swimming)

:sunny:

I LOVE THESE BOARDS!!!

You guys are way too funny:p :p

Thank you for the posts. Does that mean they allow noodles in the lazy river? If you can purchase the tubes there, how much are they? Has anyone every brought a 4 yr old around the lazy river? I am bringing her lifejacket. She has not had swim lessons yet.

yes on the noodles in the lazy river, no about buying clear tubes or should we say we can see your fanny tubes there, although if you find them at target, walmart or any other place you can buy them and bring them with as long as we can see your fanny through them(meaning clear tubes only).

the lazy river goes from 4 feet all the way to 10 feet maybe 12 feet going around in a circle, not a very big circle i think you can go around one time in about 3 to 5 mins.

i had my 5 year old on my lap, i would not let her float alone, even though she could swim and had floaties on, didnt want to take a chance. there are plenty of life guards, but wealso seen lifeguards not paying attention too. ;)

The shop by SAB sells noodles for about $4.00. In August we brought clear tubes with us. Next time, I will buy one or two noodles and leave them behind when I leave. The tubes and foot pump took up precious luggage room and we didn't use them that often.
