Now that tubbi's is closed for refurb where do I get my coffee(refillable cup) in the morning and where is an inexpensive place to get breakfast within the SD complex? Is there an option? Leaving in 18 days!

I don't know what the plan is for using refillable mugs during the refurb, but you can ask at guest services when you check in. Fresh serves Starbucks coffee, so the plan may be to get the mugs refilled there.

As for inexpensive breakfast options...there is a breakfast bar set up in the lobby of the Swan each morning where you can get coffee (not the refillable mugs normally, but maybe during the refurb), baked goods, fruit, etc.

We're going to the Swan this week. I emailed them about the refillable mugs. The response was if I purchased them previously I can bring them to the resort to be filled at places such as the Cabana by the pool. Unfortunately we didn't get mugs at our last visit. I also read a post recently from a woman who brought her old mug and every time she did try to get it filled at places such as the Dolphin fountain the employees didn't know anything about the policy so she struggled with this. What I plan on doing, and what I did last year, is to bring my own 4 cup filters and ground coffee and make coffee in my room b/c the Swan breakfast bar is REALLY expensive!! I also plan on bringing a small cooler to put milk in (they sell milk at the Boardwalk grocery store) so I can have breakfast in the room. It'll save us so much money. Hope this helps you plan ahead!
