Is Tubbi's Buffeteria at the Dolphin on the DDP and is it considered a counter service meal or TS? thanks

how is the food at Tubbi's? We were going to try it on our last trip.

I thought it was good for what it was. If you like grilled cheese the grilled cheese there is excellent, as are the italian sub sandwiches. I thought the pizza was just ok, but as good as the pizza in the parks. I liked it a lot,it was very convienent.

I really like their breakfast sandwiches, and of course Krispy Kreme donuts. I also thought the pizza was really good, but that was at 2:30 am so I'm sure anything could have tasted good then. ;)

Great burgers here.......and I love that it is open so late...when you are hungry, it is a great spot.

and how do they differ from snack locations? we are on the DDP
:confused3

thanks :sunny:(always thinking warm and sunny for 1/21-1/28)

I know that they cook the burgers to order or the chicken sandwich. As you order they give you a number....you get a table and they deliver it to you.

Also, they have Starbucks coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts. They also have hot entrees each day if I remember correctly..it has been a while since we have eaten there. Maybe others have more current information. Also, from what I read here, my understanding is that they do not take the dining plan. I could be wrong about this as I have the Disney Dining Experience card and have not ever used the dining plan. Anyone care to comment on that...

We tried it last trip.It is similar to a cafeteria or CS in that you select food as you go through line with your tray.If you order something not already made it will be cooked to order. You pay in a small convenient swtore and find a seat in cafeteria. We found it very expensive and opted for sit down meals rest of trip.We spent 58.00 for breakfast for family of 4 at Tubbis and 60.00 for same at Gullivers buffett and 45.00 at Spoodles. We also tried Fresh which has Starbucks and great brunch menu or buffet and spent about 70.00 there. If all you want is the coffe and donuts then Tubbis is not a bad deal but when you add breakfast sandwhiches, waffles etc it adds up quicker than you think!

Quick service and counter service locations are the same, and Tubbi's is not.

A snack service location is where you could get a bottled water, soda, fruit, chips, etc.

They're all listed in the link in my post #2 above.
