Tub height in deluxe oceanview and deluxe family oceanview with verandah?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how high the tubs in the deluxe oceanview with verandah and the deluxe family oceanview with verandah staterooms on the Dream are? Are they really high or just average or maybe lower than average? I need to make a decision on whether to get a room and need this info. Thanks.

I can't find an actual measurement but the tub side is taller than a normal one at home. At least on the Dream class ships. You could contact Special Services to ask, they've always been very helpful with my questions.

If your question is due to a mobility issue, keep in mind there is also a step up into the bathroom in case you didn't know.

The bottom of the tub is higher than the floor - so when getting out of the shower, you are lifting over the edge and then farther down to land your foot. (And having to lift up to get second foot into shower.) There is a grab handle on the wall, but I am very cautious.

The rectangular tubs on Deck 5 are taller than the round ones in the rest of the cabins…
