TT Driver Permit

During our last trip, DD3 was too short for TT and the CM gave her a driver's permit and told her to come back when she was tall enough.

This year, she will be tall enough! Hooray!

I'm just wondering how this works... if I show it to the CM, will we all get to ride like it's a FP? Or was the CM just trying to offer some comfort to a sad child in the form of a souvenir.

I did a search here but only found a post from 2007, so thought it was worth double-checking.

2. Well, that's often the end of it, as many folks lose it or forget to bring the ticket back with them.

I had remembered the permit as I was trying to balance out our EP tier 1 FP+ picks and luckily I might be a hoarder so I was able to find it. But there's no guarantee that I remember to actually bring it with us!
