OK - even with a significant reduction in the number of people needing transportation Mears still wants to charge us $4200 for transportation.

I am trying to make them see what they are proposing is overkill but I would still like to get the number needind transportation down.

We have a lot of folks in the Epcot resort area who I think would be OK with walking.

Please help me get the word about this.

John can't you do a blanket email to all those registered?? I know you normally dont do that but for this I think you should go for it.

My DH and I are staying at POFQ and we have rented a compact so I believe it would give us enough room for another two adults and a child if anyone else still needs a ride.

How are you handling people that have cars and can take people somewhere? Are you tracking that on a list?

For example, we will have a vehicle and can transport 3, or 4 if some are kids. We can take them anywhere after the party. If someone assigns them to us we'll hook up and get them a ride.

We're staying in the Epcot resort area...Dolphin actually. I know there is a big group walking but we will most likely have a car as we'll be coming from a different park. If anyone in that general area needs a lift by all means send a PM to myself or DW (TMLI). We're renting emerald aisle so not sure what we'll have but we'll have room for 2 most likely 3. Not opposed to driving to a different area either....would prefer to stay on property though.

I just think Dreams has done a tremendous job putting together this event for us and we'll do what we can to help out even a little.

Please keep in mind that there is a special thread about tranportation from the party back to Pop.

When it's necessary we will drive several times between DHS and Pop after the party is totally came to an end!!!!

I'm a "townie" and will be driving to DAP. I can take 3 people with me, and I'll drive to the resorts onsite, or if anyone is staying out on 192 I can take you there.

What is the walk (time wise) to BCV.

Hi all this my first DIS event. I am staying Disney Beach Club Villas. I have attend parties at Disney Hollywood Studios and walk "home." It is a 15- 20 minute walk back to BCV. With "Friends" the walk will seem like 5 minutes.
