What are your favorite table service restaurants with portions large enough to share in Epcot? My teen daughters don't have huge appetites, so I was hoping that they would be able to split some adult portions, but it's hard to know where portions are large and where they are on the smaller side. It would be helpful to know where to find the generous portions before ordering. ;)

Thanks for your suggestions!

What is "huge"? I think I have a smaller appetite. I usually do have leftovers. But there is No Way I could share with my average appetite DH at any WS restaurant other than pizza designed to be shared. I think Teppan Edo in particular, has smaller portions.

DH and I share almost everywhere! Le Cellier we will split soup and steak- and the kitchen will split the portion for us, which is really nice. At La Hacienda, DH will order an app or 2 as his meal, and then he will have some of my tacos from the sampler entree.

of course it is relative....my 6'5" husband, three younger (teens, then 8-year old) children and I often split three meals with maybe an appy, me a dinner salad and/or the youngest with a kids' meal. most of us are big eaters. we always had plenty of food. not always stuffed/that's a good thing. Once the kids realized if we shared, there was room for and could actually enjoy some of the great snacks, especially in EP, Starbuck's drinks, ice cream, etc. We usually are on the regular DDP, so we have three desserts. (if there is cheesecake, and we are going back to the resort, we will often get it to go. great for breakfast. Anything goes in WDW.)
This means we have a few more sitdown meals, which we like. We budget for more tips. And, we always have a ton of leftover CS. Which is fine. We get some take home items. It is also a great feeling to spread a little pixie dust and buy a stranger's lunch.
For example, at Rose and Crown, we got a scotch egg, and three of the steak and fish combo dinners. two extra plates. Kids got the drinks. I had water, and DH got a scotch flight. ate the desserts. I think they were all toffee puddings. very small round cakes with sauce as I recall. yummy. we were stuffed. really didn't need the egg. just wanted to try it.
At Teppan Edo, we got a cali roll or tempura appy, three adult meals (that they graciously split four ways) and a kids meal. i think we got a couple of the desserts. Not as full as R&C, but it was lunch and just what we needed. Nothing worse that being too full and walking around in the heat. Plus, I really hate to waste.
I realize you just asked about EP, but when we went to 50s Primetime for lunch. We split three meals (the pot roast-meatloaf-chicken combo) with four shakes and two of the peanut butter/chocolate cakes. Omg. We were seriously full and had a total sugar crash. We had to go back to the room and nap.
We have also shared three meals at LTT, BOG, other places I am sure I am forgetting...share at CS, too.
We did the fantasmic! meal at Mama Melrose's. We had four adult meals with appys and dessert and a kids meal. Holy Cow! It was surprising delicious. We wasted at least one-third of our food, took the desserts to go, and were beyond stuffed!!! The mistake we made here, is that we couldn't agree on flatbreads. So, we got three. Not sure what DH had. (The mushroom flatbread was LOADED and one of the better items I have consumed anywhere on property.) it is a meal alone. Kids loved the meat one and a margarita one. We got two or three steak with cheesy penne pasta entrees, which were big portions.
After a couple of bad experiences at Le Cellier, we haven't been there in years. But I am sure its entrees are smaller, unless you getting/if they still have the 20 oz ribeye. but the accompaniments are not sides, per se. Years ago, I ordered a side of mashed potatoes for my then toddler. it was a good size. Don't know if you could do that. Get a bigger steak and order one of the poutines for $10ish for them to share. (My kids really only wanted to go for the three kinds of breadsticks. lol.)

Are you on the dining plan?

Spice Road Table has big meals. They also have "small plates" so, if you aren't on the dining plan, they could probably either split an entree or order two small plates to share.
