Next June I am going to WDW with a group of 25. This is a mix of Boy Scouts, Parents, and younger siblings. We will be onsite, either All Stars or FW Campsites.

We are in the budget planing stage right now, and are thinking of doing 1 TS meal as a group.

Any thoughts on whiche restaurant can handle a group this size. We thought a character meal would be fun. OR Maybe Whispering Canyon? A buffet would be fine.

THANKS!!!

I just made a TS breakfast reservation for 22 people at Whispering Canyon Cafe. The group I'll be there with also made a dinner reservation for something like 40 people at Chef Mickey's.

You'll either be put through to group dining, or you'll need to talk with the restaurant manager (in the past I've done both). You may also have to take a time period that may be inconvenient. We wanted 9:00am at WCC, but they only seat large groups at 8:00am. And we're all required to order the breakfast skillet.

You may have more success at getting a buffet reservation.

Just make your plans ahead of schedule and make sure to call at 180 days for the best shot at getting a reservation.

Chef Mickey's has an area which seats almost 50 people. You can reserve it but you have to have your reservation at the restaurant opening time.

We had a party about that size a few years ago at Boma. We did have to make the ADR for opening time, and we ended up not having an entire section to ourselves.

Thanks for your responses. Open time at one of the buffet's would work fine. Chef Mickey is always fun anyway...maybe we'll do that our first day there, bus to ttc or MK then monorail to CR...could be fun!!!

If you take the bus to MK it is faster to walk to the Contemporary than to take the monorail as MK bus parking is on the CR side. The distance from MK bus parking to the monorail platform is probably the same as the distance from bus parking to CR.
