Since we have a 3:00 flight home, I am looking for a great table service breakfast the day we leave at one of the resorts.( something that will fill us up pretty good) I'd like something fun- though my son is 11 so characters are unimportant.
I haven't booked any dinners at the resort hotels so visiting other places is fun ( we are staying at POP)

I have a 9:00 ADR at whispering canyon now
but, it is for August 20 so I have time to change

You have chosen WELL. I would suggest KEEPING that Whispering Canyon ADR, and perhaps going for the Skillet :).

I agree, it sounds like you have a great, fun, and filling breakfast already booked. I would suggest keeping it. If you did want to switch though, Boma is my favorite breakfast anywhere and the Animal Kingdom Lodge is the best!

1900 Park Fare is also good, but quite a haul from Poo. I would go Boma if I were you. Good food, and the resort is fun to walk around and enjoy before or after your meal.

My favorite departure day breakfast is The Wave. They have both table service and buffet options.

Whispering Canyon breakfast is my DS10's absolute favorite! Super fun and good food - go for the skillet and ask for ketchup!

So many good choices- all mentioned are breakfasts we've done. Love Whispering Canyon! Very filling! and fun! We like a late breakfast seating- crowds die down- nice and leisurely meal.

We always do a Boma breakfast on our departure day. We typically aren't breakfast eaters but make an exception for Boma!

My favorite departure day breakfast is The Wave. They have both table service and buffet options.
I second this! The Wave is AMAZING! I love their buffet. its not huge, but they have great items. And I love that you can also get made-to-order items from the menu (included in the buffet price) such as french toast and egg benedict. Lastly, mimosa is included in the price.

However, if you want something fun i'd stick with Whispering Canyon. Its a solid choice, esp for an 11 year old. Boma is a great choice as well, great food, but i think WCC would be more fun. However after your boma breakfast you can check out the animals at the resort. So that might be cool?

Thanks for all the input- haven't been since he was 4- at that time it was all about the characters and we did chef mickey and Winnie the poo breakfast

I think ill keep whispering canyon

thanks for the help

I would stick with WCC. It’s not my favorite but at 11 my son loved it. It is fun and definitely filling. I like Kona Cafe.

You and everyone else has posted what I think are the top 2 outstanding breakfasts Whispering Canyon and Boma.
