trying tohelp someone on a different forum figure out what's wrong with their MDE?

i came across this question on a different forum/Q&A site that i'm a part of where most people don't know much about mymagic+ so no one else has answered it.

can anyone help me to help this fellow disney traveler?

Hello, basically me and my partner are going away in June and I have linked our tickets to the app so I can set up fast passes. Basically when I go onto our linked tickets my partners icon is lit up blue and the icon next to my linked ticket is grey? Is it supposed to be grey or does that mean something?

I don't think this means anything he can go change the icon to whatever he wants. When I link a reservation at first I am given both colors of mickeys until I link to the correct person on my party.

That person, who is probably on a wdwmagic forum, has booked FPs and somehow purchased 14 days worth of tickets for the price of 7 that are obviously correctly linked to his account.

Why is he worried about the color of his icon? Tell him to choose a specific icon and the grey Mickey will no longer appear.
